I don’t normally leave bad reviews but the service I received was absolutely shocking. Paid over £500 for a maths course and was allocated a tutor. There was no useful course material and I basically ended up teaching myself through YouTube videos and free resources. I was provided with 30 second video clips which is basically all that was included in the course. No guidance whatsoever. I tried to reach out to my tutor (Rebecca) for help and was just emailed back and essentially told to keep practicing. I had to chase multiple times for my results even after the exam board had released them because Oxbridge failed to email them across to me. I phoned on a Friday and spoke to Lily who said she could see my results were out and she would email me right away. That was in the afternoon. No email came with any results and I was made to wait until Monday where I had to chase again by phone to find out my results. I was left anxious all weekend and felt really let down. I ended up going with a different course provider a few months ago and they have been much more helpful and a lot more supportive. Don’t waste your money like I did. Do your research first. I really regret signing up with Oxbridge because I wasted so much time and money! Update: Oxbridge have responded below to say the timeframe in which the results are received has nothing to do with them and instead is with the examining body - I understand this. However, this is NOT what I was referring to in my original review. I was referring to speaking with someone on the phone from Oxbridge who confirmed that my results had been released and that they could see them in front of them on their screen. I was told that they would arrange for those results to be emailed across to me right away. That Friday came and went and I then had to wait until the following week because Oxbridge failed to email these to me despite the fact that it a member of the Oxbridge team themselves confirmed over the telephone that my results were out and that they had them to send to me. Bearing in mind I phoned in at about 12pm. They had until around about 5pm to send me my results. I didn’t chase again because I had faith that they’d actually do this. I don’t really appreciate the attempt to refrain from accepting responsibility for this.

We used Oxbridge for correspondence courses to help our daughter (C) in studying for 3 A levels in Summer 24, French, chemistry and biology. To caricaturise, they were all over us while we were booking their service, but completely disinterested after receiving the money. Noone at Oxbridge told us that C had to attend practical sessions for her science subjects (compulsory even though they did not count for the final mark), and so we had to scrabble about at the last moment to book these. They recommended Tutors & Exams for the actual sitting of the exams, booked the 2 sciences while we took care of French, but washed their hands of any issue we encountered when dealing with their recommended service supplier, saying effectively that they did what they did and T&E took care of the rest : conflicting exam locations, changing exam times at the last moment, obtaining exam scripts….none of it was Oxbridge’s problem, we had to take it up with T&E. I would never recommend this company, they have made it clear that they are not interested in client service. We are taking this matter up with Trading Standards.

When we booked with this company they were all over us, phoning every day, promising the world etc. When we had a problem - missing A level papers from the company they book/recommend to take the exams with we were told it wasn’t their problem and subsequently ignored in the hope that we would just go away. We have now contacted Trading standards about their practise and the practise of those they recommend.

Oxbridge was the 6th place that I looked into for my new learning journey. I have spoken to numerous other providers and have been given conflicting and confusing career advice. This is where it stopped. I spoke to Chris and it was like a light bulb moment where I instantly knew the path I needed to take. He has effectively saved me about £25,000 and a 3 year degree that I didn't need! He was amazing and I cannot thank him enough. If I was meeting him in person, I may have kissed him! THANK YOU Chris! :-)

Cadia Battersby is an excellent maths tutor, she provides a complex understanding and overview in such a short of amount of time. She is very outgoing and easy to talk to during the sessions. I would highly recommend Cadia to anyone who is struggling with their maths. I am very pleased and much more confident in my ability after each session. 10/10

Emily is a great tutor. She has helped me a lot so far in my A Level course and answers all my questions! I did an oral assignment over the phone with her yesterday, and I was very nervous but she was patient with me and let me know afterwards what I did well and how I could improve.

Insane situation. roughly 2 years ago I arranged to study with Oxbridge and they kindly offered that I could pay for my A-level exams with them as part of the course! Unfortunately they failed to mention that after my two year course I would not be able to take my A-Level exams. This is because my course ends before the exams and I need to be with them in order to sit them! So naturally the question of 'why wasn't I told this before? It seems pretty important information', came up. Only to be greeted with 'yea sorry, you did not get that info but we can extend your course so that it covers the exam period.' Wonderful I thought an easy solve! But that would cost me over a £1000 that I am not able to pay and so am now strong armed into finding that money unless I waste 2 years of my life and thousands of pounds already spent. This amount had to be paid upfront, no chance of monthly payments and is simply a blackmail in order to get me to pay more money for no extra benefits. Disgusting company that now has my future absolutely held back behind a paywall that I am forced to probably get further loans out in order to pay. All under the guise of, you don't have to pay it, when they know full well that I need to be a part of a studying body in order to take my exams. Disgraceful. Holding my education back unless I pay this is so vile and unnecessary. Why would you not account for that when signing people up? Why would you not let them know? Why would you force a full payment? Because you are happy to blackmail people for their futures, thats why. They even had the audacity to have mocks early this December, when by their own standards the A-levels I should have taken should have been May this year. Make it make sense? If you pay for a year or 2 year course, be aware you will never get the full 2 years or 1 year you have paid for, as even if you line up the course with your A-Levels you are at best losing a month off of that course. You are not likely to continue studying or wait for the December mocks when you have already attended your A-Levels are you? Dumbest thing I have come across in a long time.
