James answered all my questions in a timely fashion clearly and succinctly. He also made me aware of a 14 day cooling off period, if the course turned out to be not what I wanted. Thank you James!

Poor experience. Includes links to videos which have since been removed or made private, spelling-mistake covered PDFs, appallingly organised content, repeated assignment questions, assignment questions from content not covered in learning and lies over access to tutors (rather one gets sent to an admittedly quite good support team). Highly recommend exploring alternatives in the online A-level space.

I found the sales advisors very pushy and quick to getting me to sign up for an A level in Spanish. There was no discussion of competency or online evaluation. After I signed up, I had a few problems and had lukewarm help from my tutor. I am now cancelling, but this company won't accept that as I was a few days out of the legal 14 day cooling off period. Wouldn't touch them with a bargepole!

I was hoping to complete the Animal Care Level 3 course in order to start getting a better understanding of animal care and welfare, as this will help with my current job. After purchasing the course and looking at the course material I was extremely disappointed. The only course material is around 200 pages of note-like content, that feels more like it was somebody's notes from a textbook as they are quite condensend and do not really expand on the concepts they are not explaining. I look over the assesments, and find that they have not been updated since 2019. I read further into the reading materials and find that they talk about the Animal Welfare Act revisions of 2018 as something in the future, suggesting that it has been over 6 years since the course was updated. Considering it tries to teach the Animal Welfare Act, I have to say that you are better off avoiding this course and finding something more relevant. I requested a refund and managed to get one within the week, so I did not complete this course. Edit: After the reply from Oxbridge claiming that they regularly review and update course content, here is a quote from Unit 1, page 22: "The new Animal Welfare Act 2018 has come into effect as of 1st October 2018, and it will have an impact on the way dogs are bred and sold in the UK. There have been many advances in the understanding of dog welfare since previous acts, the most recent of which came into force 19 years ago." I assume that this refers to the Breeding and Sale of Dogs (Welfare) Act 1999, as the AWA 2006 would not suggest the course was written in the future. Therefore, this particular course has not been reviewed in 6 years. On top of this, the first chapter appears to be a complete plagiarism of the National Geographic Article entitled "Domestication" And Chapter 2 is plagiarised from a piece on the Odyssey Online entitled "7 Reasons Why College Students Shouldn't Buy A Pet" I have contacted both sites to let them know. Also, save yourself the money as the rest of the course is a word-for-word plagiarism from the textbook "Biology and Care" by Dallas & Jewell. There isn't even a slight attempt to change the wording.

Tried asking one simple question re prices as was considering using this company, and ended up repeatedly pestered by a pushy "Learning Advisor" who would not give a straight answer. Eventually he was also very rude after I asked them to stop contacting me, insinuating I was lying about my own past experience. I tried writing to the company rather than leaving a review based on this one person, but they haven't bothered responding at all in three weeks so apparently they aren't concerned about his unprofessional behaviour. Maybe the actual tutors are great but I wouldn't use them myself after this experience. Edit 7th October: Thanks for the reply Oxbridge. My letter was received on 16th September according to tracking. If it has gone astray and you need the details again please do let me know how best to contact you. 2nd Edit 21st October: Not heard another word from this company in two weeks. Enough said! 3rd Edit 13th December: Never did hear from them re my complaint, BUT having said they would delete all my details, this company is now pestering me with repeat sales texts (to my landline!) Four received on the 9th, then two today before I disabled the text function. And reported them to the ICO. Think VERY carefully before contacting them.
