United Kingdom | 11 November 2024- This course has no intrinsic value, and isn't recognised by anybody as a valid part of counselling training - It is not a nationally recognised course, it is a "customised qualification" constructed by Oxbridge with approval of NCFE, but it serves no real purpose. It being customised is on the website, but you'll find this buried in small print under a lot of over-selling and misrepresentation, let alone even know what the relevance of "customised qualification" means - ACCPH do not accredit this course, it is only endorsed, again, information you need to look carefully for - I was mis-sold this course as a Level 4 Diploma, which is what you really need - Again, the course materials do say that you don't need the 100 hours placement to complete the course. However, you do need this to begin your career as a counsellor as they say this course will allow you to do, but it can't. You won't get a 100 hours placement without undertaking a Level 4 - This course will not give you access to placement, employment or anything else you need - Most of the course assignments are a blatant repetition of Level 3, they say this is to build on the skills of level 3 to prepare for Level 4 but this is unnecessary, nobody needs a Level 3.5 course, the requirement doesn't exist. The course quality just is not there - If you have an issue with them, you're going to need a lot of patience, a very thick skin, and a lot of determination - After over 4 months of having my time wasted, being gaslit, patronised and suffering their dishonesty and deflection I finally got my refund - But they have no formal complaints procedure, so don't appear answerable to anybody, instead you just continually bounce around student support when they can be bothered to reply to your emails. My first 2 contacts both took 4 weeks each to reply to, and when I saw the quality of the response I really wondered why. They won't answer direct questions, nor respond appropriately to your substantive points. - When I applied for the course I failed the credit check for interest free so had to take the higher APR instalment plan, this was strange as around that time I had successfully applied for a credit card and had a credit score of nearly 800. They explained that different companies have different requirements, of course they do, yet it didn't seem right that an online course of around £400 in value underwent checks more stringent than a credit card. I wonder how many other people fail their credit checks? - I pursued some of my complaint with support from ACCPH and NCFE with whom I'm still speaking with and would urge others who have wasted time and money on this course to do the same. ACCPH have also received other complaints in this time. It's not right that people are convinced to part with money on a course that has no value or need to exist - To top it all off, through my complaint I discovered that I'd never been enrolled with the NCFE. I see a lot of reviews here talking about serious delays in receiving certificates, I dare say it's because they aren't actually enrolling people properly - My complaint began in July 2024, and I received my refund 7th November, albeit less the overinflated APR charges. I would leave zero stars if I could The most telling part is that the day I received my refund after chasing it up there was no reply or contact from Oxbridge, which just shows how they treat people who challenge their credibility. There was no explanation for how badly they'd handled my complaint, why I wasn't enrolled, nor processing the refund, and no apology for how I'd been treated. Nothing I've said here can't be backed up with evidence, and I'me sure they will exercise their right to reply to this, but there is A LOT of detail I don't have room for here. I won't be interested in their response to this, because I already know what the tone of it will be, and I honestly don't want to hear anymore from them

United Kingdom | 11 November 2024Accessor Nicole Luo, I would like to express my gratitude for the support and guidance you provided during my observation. From our very first conversation, you were incredibly kind and reassuring, which helped put me at ease. I was feeling a bit nervous before we started, but your warm and encouraging approach quickly erased my fears. Your feedback has been constructive and positive, highlighting areas for improvement in a way that motivates me rather than intimidates me. I feel more confident moving forward, knowing that I have your valuable insights to guide me. Thank you for creating such a supportive environment—I genuinely appreciate it.

United Kingdom | 09 November 2024I bought a counselling course with the intention of completing it before my 60th birthday (I am 59). A week before I was due to start a very good friend of mine died in very tragic circumstances. As you can imagine I was bereft....I waited a few days and contacted Oxbridge to ask if I could be taken off the course as I felt that the pain of the loss was too much to cope with. The person I spoke to informed me that they would not take me off but would 'put it on hold' for 6 months. I told them I felt time was irrelevant, and that now this course was all wrong for me....I wrote a letter to them to ask them to release me from the financial tie with the credit company they use. This was ignored. Fast forward and now I am having to pay for the course - never having even started it. I would NEVER use this company - their counsellors clearly do not understand what EMPATHY is - how the hell can they teach it?

United Kingdom | 08 November 2024Terrible, I'd give 0 if I could. They give you no option to cancel after the 14 days, basically forcing you to pay and study when not even colleges and universities do this. An absolute scam and waste of money. They are greedy and rude unless it benefits them. I don't know how can I reply to the comment here so I am putting here as a edit. As they mentioned, I tried after six months, but if you try to pay a bit of attention, you will see the day of experience is august, and it was barely two months at that time. So basically, I even tried to cancel literally in the first month of enrollment and tried continuously for another couple of months, which I have on my emails to counter your fake and aggressive reply. Even when I tried to contact your representative explaining, I am not interested and couldn't afford to stay enrolled, but they declined to even talking about it properly and were being rude. Despite putting dispute from bank they used my debit card details without permission for further deduction instead of direct debit putting me in lots of debts leaving me no money for me and my kid's survival by constant forceful deductions. It's just because you'd decided to keep me enrolled when I haven't even avail your any services from day one from online modules or any tutor. All these things are on record so stop falsifying my statement instead of making it right.
