In 2020 I enrolled on a Level 3 Cognitive Behavioural Therapy course to develop my teaching skills further. Unknown to me 3 months later I would be diagnosed with a life limiting cancer diagnosis. Throughout this Student Support have been outstanding, suspending the course for a year whilst undergoing procedures and treatments. Re-engaging with the course and working with an outstanding Student Tutor Kelly Pearson, without who's understanding, cooperation and support the final outcome would not have been achieved. Little did I know when enrolling, the benefits that this course would have for me and my journey. To this point I have emailed one of the directors Mr Jones to make him aware of the outstanding performance of his company in my eyes. HOPEFULLY he will respond to it.

Natalie was the 3rd person i spoke to at oxbridge and was very helpful. i was concerned about having no tutor support but she put my mind at rest and also helped me when the website was messing up and talked me through the whole thing. she stayed on the chat line whilst i was filling out the finance forms and reassured me everything was going through. well deserved 5 stars

I signed up to do their French A level in February 2024. Before I paid the fee I was told repeatedly there was ‘unlimited tutor support’ and was given the impression that it included spontaneous conversation practice. Once I started the course, when I asked for the conversation practice, the so called tutor assigned to me, was evasive by not actually saying she did not provide conversation practice but first saying that once a week ‘might be a bit intense’ and when I asked for a second time she replied in her email, ‘We can organise a call but I think it will not be possible every week.' It was only after the two weeks cooling off period that the Oxbridge representative stated clearly that over the two year course, they did not provide conversation practice, and that there was ‘no teaching’ at all. And when I came to doing an oral exercise, my ’tutor' told me to record it and send it to her, and that she would then go through it with me and give me feedback. I duly sent the recording to her several times but she said she did not receive it, even though when I tested it by sending it to a tech friend they did receive it. So I posted my recording in the Oxbridge portal but all I got back was a message saying ‘Bon effort’ from some person I had never hear of. My tutor did not go through it with me or give me any feedback. When I asked yet again about having conversation practice over the phone, I was told instead of recording and posting my 3-4 minute oral exercise, I could arrange to do it over the phone with my tutor but other than that, my tutor did not do conversation practice. - There are about 10 of the oral exercises – which makes 30 minutes altogether of actual practice speaking the language over the two year course. The main aim of learning a language is to speak it. Without any opportunity to practice spontaneaous conversation, the course is an inefficient teaching tool. Oxbridge was not clear about this before the two week cooling off period but strung me along and they did not carry out what they said they would do. The £1,250.00 I paid Oxbridge breaks down as £748.00 for the course and £690.00 for the exam. Their Terms and Conditions state that they do not refund the fee paid for taking an exam through them even if 2 years notice is given (as in my case). I believe because of it being unusual and without any perceivable logic by which one could anticipate this Term, they are obliged to inform me of it directly rather than it be my responsibility to find it in their Terms and Conditions. And they never sent me their Terms and Conditions.

Would you like to feel pressured into a course whether you have the funds or not? Then please, look no further! You will contact them tell them and tell them you are struggling mentally due to your mental health problems and they will pressure you into exams somehow and you will be left to foot the bill :) Oh and there is no need to worry about being put on hold to be put through to appropriate departments because SURPRISE 🎉everything is dealt with by the student help desk. There are no other departments, such as complaints and finance. Here’s a little tip for free, make sure you record your phone calls with them because they only hold them for about 1/2 months for whatever reason that is. All of this has a special shout out to Aimee Thomas, hope you get that massive bonus you so clearly deserve! Anyway I hope this helps really reinforce your decision to study with them and good luck! You’ll sure need it! Oh and Oxbridge please do not bother yourselves replying to this, I know replying isn’t an easy task for you in general anyway but we’ve already had a discussion this morning and I told you this was coming, there’s nothing more for you guys to say. Thank youuuu

I enrolled my son last August following a disappointing result in one of his exams. He was taking a gap year abroad, and we weren’t sure if this programme would work for him. I spoke to one of the advisors who reassured me that he would be well supported anywhere in the world. Bottom line, he wasn’t. He has never had the same person to talk to twice. Emails that should have reached him, did not — which meant that we missed the exam registration and had to pay another exorbitant sum to a test site to get a late registration. Since he’s been home, he’s still had minimal support and feedback. It’s a three day wait to get a response. I should have just spent the same money with an individual tutor and registered directly with the test site. **Following the response from Oxbridge, they make clear it was specifically my son’s fault and responsibility to use the resources (hence the GDPR reference). Having read the other comments, that line of argument makes sense - this is a self-service arrangement. I wasn’t looking for that, as he was already going to be working in a foreign country and would need better support. Unfortunately this “self-service” teaching approach was not clearly described on the website nor explained by the advisors on registration, as it should have been.

I've been studying A Level Computer Science with Oxbridge for a few months and I wish I hadn't wasted my money. As mentioned in other reviews, the content is full of errors and this is really confusing when self studying. Also, rather than offering on demand videos, the content is just PDFs (Which you could substitute with a text book) and links to youtube videos (not oxbridge content, but various computer science youtubers), these are great, but you could easily find these yourself withouth paying hundreds of pounds for the course. One of the only pros is the course tutor, I've had responses from a couple. They reply quickly, are friendly and couldn't be more helpful.
