No communication, even though I emailed the tutor with work at first. I received no response. The only email I got after the initial sign on process was right at the end of the two years. The tutor never reached out to me in that time.

I have a great tutor, Penny. She answers my questions almost immediately during working hours so I know she's reliant.

The course was a little too short but I suppose that depending on individuals that might be ok for some. There is also the opportunity to do further ones I suppose.

I signed up to oxbridge learning to do a life coaching course. The content in itself is very good, so i feel i am learning so much about life coaching and what it entails. However i wouldn't recommend the structure of this course for a life coaching subject. Its very heavily focused on essay writing to submit your leaning (which is great way to learn and gather some of your own research) but it very much focuses on citations and making sure essays are written as "Harvard style essays". I wasn't expecting this kind of layout for a life coaching course, as it wasn’t really mentioned to me the style in which i would be learning the subject. I did an online yoga teacher course elsewhere and i did have to write essays plus use references and make a reference list but it was not as strict. The yoga course i did elsewhere was a mix of multi choice exams, video exams submitted by myself, and written exams (So feedback and styles are varied). I feel like my feedback on this oxbridge course is focused on the style of the essay - so how i've cited or used quotes instead of the subject itself, it would be nice to have even a small discussion about life coaching or another way or thinking about things. I think it would also be nice to include workshops and maybe online meetings and discussions. The only way so far in which you get through the course is submitting these essays, i feel my life coaching skills are not really being put to a varied test. It is a good way of learning about a subject but i'm only really learning the knowledge behind it and how to construct a perfect essay. I do think the practice of life coaching is very important, as ultimately life coaching is dealing with people on a face to face basis. I would highly recommend Oxbridge for maybe a mathematical, science, geography, GCSE subject etc but certainly not for any thing like mental health, life coaching, mindfulness etc. (Where people interaction is so important). I have been recommended an immersive life coach school that would enable me to interact with others and put in the practice to gain ICF (international coaching federation) accredited coach training. Staff are super helpful and they respond quickly so that is a plus. If you love essays this course if for you. However if you like varied styles of learning i would not recommend this course. UPDATE ON RESPONSE: The response provided from Oxbridge is understandable. However I was not comparing it to "yoga" i was really comparing to an online learning platform which provides distance learning at your own pace with different styles of learning. Another life coaching course that i have approached and my friend who is studying at a different life coaching school (which in fact is online, at her own pace) do not just use essay writing as a 'distinct' way learning style for life coaching, there are other methods of learning which are hugely important to life coaching. This ultimately is not a life coaching school, in my opinion it is presented as a subject matter on which you are then writing an essay for. Life coaching should entail certain number of hours of face to face practice with clients with a mentor who provides supervision. It seems Oxbridge are very defensive about their learning and testing styles. I would say this course is more of an academic course on the subject matter. Again Oxbridge is a great platform to learn about life coaching in general but dealing with people when it comes to coaching should be practiced and monitored. I would highly recommend anyone who would like to do life coaching professionally to go on the ICF website and look for a recognised and representable school if you would like this as a career or would like to practice life coaching on clients.

Oxbridge is a great way to do your chosen courses / a levels etc online, and they have really helped me, especially the live chat. However, I am finding right now quite a difficult time as it takes 48 + hours for my tutor to respond, and as have been getting in touch with my tutor, it seems like there are more and more things that I don’t understand, or wasn’t aware of, and as such I am feeling quite overwhelmed and stressed… I want to get my NEA question officially sorted and chosen, however I need my tutor to guide me through this, but it takes a few days for my tutor to respond, so I am left waiting. I also want to find out my exam timetable/dates for summer 2024, but it is seemingly quite a challenge as I need to get in touch with different people and places. Overall, Oxbridge has been great and I’m happy I chose to use this company, but it is something to keep in mind when considering online learning; it can be quite overwhelming when you don’t have a one-to-one in person, in depth talk with someone, and your waiting for replies. I want to end on a positive note, so thank you OxBridge for all the help I have received.

I signed up for A level Spanish 6 months ago and everything was fine. However, a month ago, I found that I was unable to access my ebook. The most important part of what you pay for and you get access to it for 2 years. Oxbridge never proactively informed me they were experiencing any problems until I asked them why I was no longer able to access the ebook. They confirmed they were having issues (no other details provided apart from that) and that they hoped to have it fixed soon. That was a month ago and it is still unavailable. To add insult to injury is the complete lack of proactive communication to keep their students/customers up to date with this very serious problem. It feels like I've been scammed. I've paid my money and I have nothing.

I spoke to Natalie, she was very helpful in giving all the information I asked for. Explained what this qualification could entitle me to work with. She was also very helpful getting me the finance to pay in installments. Natalie's over all communication and attitude was very professional, followed on by her emails about the course work.
