United Kingdom | 09 February 2025We ordered on 15 January for a two week delivery. We normally have a call the day before delivery but nothing. We attempted to contact the Tunbridge Wells office on 4 occasions by telephone and there was no response and no facility to leave a message. We then contacted head office via email and was told there were delivery issues in our area and we would be included on their priority list but no indication of time. When pressed we were told 3 to 5 days. These were working days. If Goff had contacted us in advance and highlighted the delivery issues we could have made alternative fuel arrangements. Having to chase delivery and still not being provided with a firm date after contacting head office is not good customer service. The individual at head office was very polite and professional but we feel rather let down. I must add we have used Goff on several occasions with no issues.

I paid for 10 (working) day service it didn’t come even on day 10 . phoned I was told oh no it will be 12 (working) days. it didn’t come on day 12. no communication from the company. No email no text message no explanation and no apology. I mean, they’ve got the market cornered but that’s no excuse for poor customer service. And the most irritating thing is when you’re waiting on hold there’s some recorded woman voice telling you about rapid response and what professional company they are and it’s all just lies. And at the time of writing this review, I still have not received my oil!

United Kingdom | 08 February 2025Having been a regular customer for 12 years (we have never bought from anyone else in that time) we have never waited so long for an oil delivery. It was delivered on the final date given on the order so I accept that it was in time but we have never had to wait for the last date before. It feels as though loyalty doesn't matter to Goff anymore and you're only interested in getting customers to pay a premium for speedy delivery.

United Kingdom | 08 February 2025Their website talks about delivery in 8 working days. Mine was scheduled for 11 working days. After some discussion was promised delivery on the 10th working day. Never happened, no communication, i had to call them. Delivery 'sometime next week'. Cancelled and went elsewhere.

Updated customer service with new delivery details. When driver turned up he did not ring new delivery tel contact number. Drivers attitude not good very unpleasant which upset my wife. Will not be using Goff again

Goff normally delivers fairly quickly but this time they were outside the delivery window, just over 2 weeks. Apparently due to huge demand. I also tried to get in touch with them to increase my order but got no reply to emails. Contact info should be shown clearly on the invoice.

Called the day after and was promised the following day and still no show a day after - another call and they say this afternoon - we will see 🤞

United Kingdom | 07 February 2025Oil was delivered late. When ordered, it was for delivery no later than 3 February, stated by Goff on the order (arrived 4 Feb). In addition, 10 working days is just too long a lead time and you have never, in 14+ years of having fuel from you, taken the full 10wd; you are also holding my cash for c 2 weeks. Further, at Christmas time, you completely withdrew all express deliveries (again unpredictable) so I had to go elsewhere, as I will do from now on.

Unhelpful staff who told me to go to B & Q and buy a 20 litre container despite telling them a vulnerable pensioner was having to turn off the heating to conserve oil.

United Kingdom | 07 February 2025Always use Goff for my heating oil as they provide such a god deleivery service. They always send a text the day before delivery which I find helpful. The drivers are always polite and courteous and are a credit to the company.
