Traveling home on the Queen Mary 2 involved taking a larger than usual suitcase. Dreading having to manuever it through Penn Station and then home on the train, I decided to give the Luggage Forward service a try. Luggage Forward supplied tags and Cunard had my luggage waiting for me at disembarkation. I only had to collect it, go through immigration/customs, and hand it over to the friendly Luggage Forward standing at the exit from customs. This meant I could easily manage the rest of my trip, using public transportation with no headaches. Luggage Forward had my suitcase on my porch by noon the next day. Excellent service!

Service is always great but we set it up to be picked up on 10/22 and arrive 10/29. Instead it arrived on 10/25. We hadn’t even left on our trip yet. So we had to make arrangements for a friend to go pick the bags up so they weren’t stolen! This has happened to us before. I suggest you add an “earliest arrival” date or a range of estimated dates. Next time we will intentionally ship later to avoid a too early arrival when no one’s home.

It was PERFECT!! Always someone to talk to, without having to wait. SO unusual these days. That in itself eased my anxiety. Simple and nice graphics for the paperwork and tags.😀I need simple! I loved the graphics on the brown envelopes . The emails ( and not too many) just right to keep us informed. A VERY nice FEDEX man who helped me with the tags and helped me weigh my suitcase. It was ALL so smooth and simple. You couldn’t have been more perfectly organized. You rate better than a 10. I Thankyou for making my choice to do this service a blessing! I actually can’t thank you enough. I look back at your help as the smoothest first class aspect of my trip!

Denicia provided SUPERB customer service. She quickly answered my questions, provided clear guidance to completing forms and, volunteered to enter some data that I was having difficulty entering! Easy and simple pick up and drop off. Luggage arrived on the ship in Southampton as scheduled. One baggage was damaged but Luggage forward was very responsive and dealt with the issue quickly and efficiently. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful.

Nice to not to have to lug a very heavy bag through the airport. Bag showed up on time at the ship. A little damage to the suitcase itself but no damage to contents Wish they were not so strict with cologne and other liquids. But overall a good experince

This is a very easy way to move a piece of luggage. The process is simple. The bag gets picked up on the day and in the time period indicated. I have used this service a few times and the company is very reliable. A couple of times my bag arrived at its destination a few days sooner than planned. You need to be sure to have someone at your destination available to collect your bag if that happens.

Overall it was a good experience. The one stressful part was not having clear precise instructions on drop off at the conclusion of the cruise.

First time using Luggage Forward, and it was wonderful. No retrieving luggage from baggage claim. No lugging my bag. Pick-up and return of our luggage worked just as advertised. We did have a ship change and Luggage Forward worked with the cruise line to make sure pick-up and delivery was correct. In planning our next trip Luggage Forward will be part of that journey.

Pickup and delivery as promised, both ways. One bag had a zipper failure and Luggage Forward stretch wrapped the bag to protect it. Much appreciated.

A Luggage Forward representative took my biggest bag as I was leaving the port authority and I only had to manage my small carry-on as I took a bus to the airport, went through security and boarded my plane home. It was great! It arrived at my front door within a week. A great service for a reasonable price.

Had to change planes on intl flights - in Heathrow and OHare - never would have made the connections if I had to frsl with the baggage. Luggage forwsrd made the trip possible.

This was essentially a terrible experience- I gave an extra star ( 2 stars) because we did get a response to each of my emails in regards to the numerous issues - otherwise this would be a one star only due to the stress it caused both myself and my friends who trusted me that our luggage would safely arrive. 4 bags sent from Nevada to Italy port To start with we were not told that there would be a third-party that was going to pick up our luggage from our home, and get it over to FedEx at the airport. Although the person that picked up my luggage was nice and personable she was dressed inappropriately her vehicle had, a broken window, a child in the backseat, and worst of all had NO license plate on the back of the vehicle !! My husband had to put the luggage into the back of her beat up vehicle. I thought I was going to be sick to my stomach- The third-party person was able to show me identification, and after about 45 minutes, I was able to reach someone to confirm that she was legitimate, but it was a terrible start. Even though the website states that luggage forward would be updating us with the tracking information, the only updates I received were actually from FedEx. We were shipping our bags from Nevada to Italy, had forward bags together and three days before the bags were to be delivered to our cruise ship I received a message from FedEx that there was a problem with customs in Italy, and only three of the four bags arrived. I believe that I must have at least 10 to 15 emails between me and luggage forward and trying to find out the situation with my bags. on the day that our cruise ship left, we had to be in touch with luggage forward several times, because our bags were not delivered to our cabin in a timely fashion, my friends suitcases were not delivered until about 20 minutes before the ship left the port so the entire time we were traveling before our cruise and getting to our cruise ship, we had no idea we were even going to get our luggage. It was a horrible experience. Out of the four of us I was the only one who decided to ship my bag back via luggage forward. The date of drop off at my home was scheduled for November 5, which worked because we were coming back on November 3. But for some reason, luggage forward tried to drop off my bag to my home on October 29 so a week early again, my only updates were from DHL and not from luggage forward as to where my luggage was. If it hadn’t been for the luggage forward staff responding to each of my emails, they did not respond to any of my phone calls. I feel like I give them less than one star. Won’t ever do this again. !!!!! Yes I got my luggage but only because I followed up almost daily

Luggage Forward needs to advise the ship that the luggage has arrived at the port.LF delivered 17 bags to the New York port but never advised the ship that the bags were there. Were it not for me bringing this to the ship’s attention 1u7 bags would not have made it on the ship.

Website is very user friendly making booking process stress free and simple. GREAT communication throughout the entire process. Bags were picked up and delivered as promised. Most importantly, every bag was in excellent condition and not a single item damaged or lost. I love this company!

Such a wonderful experience having my luggage shipped to the cruise ship. When we boarded, we had just a small roll on bag that was lightweight and easy to handle and I watched other couples dragging big heavy oversize cases up the gang plank and I was so glad all my pretty clothes would be hand delivered to my room within an hour of our arrival. Can't recommend Luggage Forward enough if you like to travel in a carefree manner while still having plenty of clothes.

It was great having luggage delivered to cruise ship but when i wanted to have my luggage returned home it was morecthan double the cost ?????????????
