Friendly and attentive Staff at Laithwaites. Prompt delivery and as I am disabled the delivery man is so helpful

I've used Laithwaites for some years now and have generally been happy with the wines and service. However, for the first time I wanted to return a few bottles of wine because this particular wine wasn't to our taste. They advertise easy returns. Well so far it's not easy. I contacted them initially via the website (chat), was transferred to an operator who agreed to have the wines collected but couldn't give a date or time. Strike one. The wines have been sitting waiting to be collected for a couple of weeks now - and I don't get the refund until they've been collected. Strike two. I've sent a number of messages by email and via the website. No response. Strike three. They have no problem delivering a new order - came within a few days. But their claim that returning wines you don't like is "easy" so far hasn't stacked up. *Update* They've now been in touch to arrange collection. The messages I sent were via their website email contact form - if those weren't received then that's something they should look at. So be wary if you use their website to send messages!

Great wines and some good deals for volume orders - delivery always prompt .... Gareth keeps me well stocked .....

I ordered my wine , a case of 12 top reds , plus 2 free bottles and glasses,it arrived 2 days later. I have now tried 2 bottles , can’t fault them. My wine rack looks good too.

Bouvray Dubois on offer plus a complimentary voucher made this a bargain easy to appreciate the 4+ rating has become a favourite for my wife. Never disappointed.

Been with Laithwaites for many years and not usually been dissatisfied. Lots of choice and excellent wines and on the one occasion that the wine was not to my taste, although others clearly liked it, it was exchanged with no discussion. Really good supplier with very swift reliable deliveries
