United Kingdom | 16 February 2025In September 2024 we bought a brand new Bailey Endeavour Campervan from Campbells Caravans. After the handover we found numerous faults all of which had been there when the vehicle came from the Bailey factory some of which would have required the vehicle to be returned to the factory for repair. After raising the issues with the manager they were ultimately escalated to one of the directors Daniel Campbell. He invited us to meet him and discuss the problems with our vehicle. Daniel listened carefully to the issues we had raised and worked hard to find a solution to the problems. Communication between us was mainly by email and the responses were always polite and prompt which helped reduce a stressful situation. The situation was resolved when Daniel offered to provide us with a brand new replacement vehicle from Bailey at no cost to us which had only just been converted in November 2024. The brand new vehicle arrived from the Bailey factory and we were able to check it over before it was registered with DVLA. In December we collected our replacement vehicle which has been a pleasure to drive . I would like to thank Daniel and all the staff at Campbells for the friendly and customer focused way that they dealt with us. I consider Campbells to be an excellent firm and I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending them

United Kingdom | 17 January 2025Just purchased new Bailey Sintra from Campbells caravans who throughout were very efficient, friendly and gave good part exchange despite us having damp on previous caravan.We collected the caravan yesterday everyone could not have done more for us and in 30 years of caravan ownership and 8 previous new purchases this was by far best experience ever.Thank you Campbells and look forward to returning for first service !

Trish particularly persevered in dealing with our problem and was very supportive to us. Ben and Emma were again very helpful and went out of their way to make sure we were wholly satisfied. Their independent advice is always constructive and appreciated.

We have ha numerous faults with our 2015 motorhome and 3 workshops could not find the fault, it’s still there we had 6 weeks of hell I failing on one out it failed on a petrol station blocking 2 pumps. We found faults in previous mots so we started with citizens advice and trading standards with the legal requirement to and recorded letters and emails of which 1 letter was ignored and emails up to today ignored. Mr Mike Barnes needs to go on a customer care course including some of his service staff. So we have done everything legal of which they haven’t and our lawyer says that this vehicle was miss sold and and not fit for purpose. As recorded in paperwork before we bought it. We shall be passing information to the BBC avoid at all cost next is ICO.

United Kingdom | 17 October 2024We ordered a new Bailey Motorhome from this dealer and took delivery in March 2022. The handover was poor and the guy could not get through it quick enough. There was no sign of the salesman who sold us the van. We found numerous faults inside and outside the van. Over the next 18 months many other faults developed. This included a water ingress issue that they never repaired. Paint peeling on the bonnet which was caused by a botched repair before we got the van. Other repairs were botched, wrong parts ordered, causing massive stress. The after sales from this company was abysmal, dishonest and incompetent. Be very wary of having any dealings with Campbells.

United Kingdom | 21 July 2024One star is too much for this after sales service. Fast enough to sell a caravan but slow at rectifying issues. Still awaiting infill cushions so we can make our 4 berth van into an actual 4 berth!!! And no table (removed by previous owner I imagine) yet. When are you expecting these and when will you let us know!!!! This has been going on for weeks and weeks, your ‘couldn’t care less attitude’ when we contact you is rude. (Especially when we are told more than once ‘Sold as seen’). Isn’t this illegal to use that phrase now?? I would not recommend Campbells to ANYONE!!

United Kingdom | 05 June 2024Well I’ve been dealing with this company for 35 years now bought quite a few vans and about 6 Isabella awnings went to see them a couple of weeks ago to upgrade are van to a newer one dealt with Mike shaw very helpful and paid a deposit my car was in a bad accident so couldn’t take my van in Mike sorted it out with one of the MDs he came out to pick it up and they are bringing me back on Friday when I pick my van up on inspection of my van there was quite a bit of damp the MD stepped in yet again and really looked after me with the price for repairs this is what you get dealing with a proper company looking forward to getting are van on Friday even the lads in the preparation shop are great can’t thank everyone enough if your looking for a van go there you won’t be disappointed thanks again to all the staff Phil

United Kingdom | 11 March 2024We had our caravan serviced at Cambells recently for the first time. We sent a detailed photograph report to confirm some parts we needed to be replaced. During the service I was told that I had given them the incorrect details and the wrong parts were ordered. This was my fault and I was told I had to pay for the postage to return the incorrect parts. These people have no customer service skills and are completely incompetent. We will never be returning, if we could we would rate Cambells at zero.

Bought our first van in September 2023 from Campbells and the customer service experience was so good we returned when upgrading our van in January 2024. I can’t imagine us going anywhere else, their after sales service is fantastic and we always feel that they have our best interests at heart.

United Kingdom | 02 November 2023Bought a brand new motorhome, 2023. Several problems including leaking roof skylight, repaired by nearer dealer and all seemed well. Washing the roof and noticed a small "dent" along one side at the front of the "luton"and then another irregularity on the matching side close by. Checking the corresponding inside sections the finishings are half inch from where they should be, obviously the inner has been taken apart and very poorly reassembled. Obviously the motorhome did not leave the factory in this condition.. Lets see if Campbells can offer any explanation.. I will send publish photos if Campbells needs them, but I think they are well aware and have been expecting this review. REPLY: How many motorhomes with this problem have you sold.? Mine is the 816 with the damage you are already aware of. PS: Its also odd how the motorhome came "paired" to two mobile phones that don't belong to me, as is the cloudy patch on the top of the drivers side window that looks like it has been accidentally over sprayed with some sort of lacquer. PPS: Really need an explanation and then we can move forward.

We happened to phone Campbells in Preston as they had the caravan we were looking for and offered us a great part exchange deal. My husband travelled from Birmingham on 12th October to collect our new Bailey Rimini caravan. All the staff were friendly and helpful throughout the whole process from the first phone call until collection in person. We would recommend Campbells to anyone looking for a caravan.

United Kingdom | 03 October 2023Where to start? Poor call pick up in the first place. Bought a brand new sprit major in 2018. Tried to book the van in for simple warranty work, the door lock had failed. First Campbells told me it was out of warranty, I explained it wasnt. Then Campbells told me the door manufacture said it was out of warranty, it wasnt. Waited 4 months for the parts to be delivered - they'd ordered a new door instead of a lock. Eventually repaired. Gas strut to front locker failed. The repair was a total bodge and looked awful. Their attitude was that it was in the locker so it didnt matter and the fitter said it was the best he could do. I drove away after receiving assurances that if the problem recurred it would be sorted. It did occur after 3 trips but was told that the warranty on the repair had expired. So if their bodged repair lasts for 12 months they're in the clear. Appeals process was to escalate to the manager who happened to be the person who had given the assurances (she had been promoted), then to contact the director whose address I was given. I received no reply and later found out in my spam folder that my email had been blocked. DONT CONSIDER USING THEM
