United Kingdom | 10 March 2025I honestly don’t know where to start with this company… My family opened a restaurant and we enlisted Epos Now to provide our POS system, card payments etc. After the initial signing up, I can honestly say that every interaction with this company was excruciating. Their POS system just didn’t work, was incredibly slow and the training / customer service was just terrible. Unfortunately, as we’d signed up to a 1 year contract, we couldn’t switch to another provider. I spent hours of my time on the phone to EPOS Now and we just never got anywhere with them. Things got worse…their card payment terminals were completely useless and didn’t allow us to take group card payments from customers splitting their bill, whilst at their table. Instead we had to go back and forth to the POS till. We cancelled using their card machines, returned all their devices and even paid a cancellation fee…but we were still charged £50 every month for a year. I tried endlessly to obtain a refund and even though EPOS Now admitted they owed us in the region of £450…they just gave excuses and never returned our money. And for the sake of my mental health, I gave up trying and closed our chapter with this god awful company. Unfortunately in the end we had to shut down our restaurant anyway. But during the year that I had to deal with EPOS Now, I cannot explain just how traumatising I found dealing with them. Their equipment and systems don’t work and they’re just out to rob their clients. I have never had such a bad consumer experience. For what it’s worth, we did switch to DOJO for our card payments…and they were exceptional (quite the other extreme!). Dojo card systems are perfect, never failed us and amazing customer service. The hospitality industry is a tough environment to work in, particularly in these harsh economic times. But please don’t make your lives any worse by having anything to do with this company.

Absolutely NOTHING, I wish I'd never ever signed with this incompetent company, don't return my emails or calls as they promised, phone staff English embarrassing told after 8 months trading thata feature on the terminal is not available, in hospital for 3 days as a direct result 😕 of this incompetent company told lies after lies...what more do you need, I know I am not the only one!!!! Give my money back or I will haunt this company until I die, what is your address so I can send this crap back. You can't destroy me, I am only a small food truck making enough to trade each day, I DON'T draw any wages

Definitely 100% would have this company at all costs. Shopify POS is 1000x better anyway. Why am I getting emails saying I’ve paid for the protection plan when I’ve left over a year ago?

He seems to know a lot more than anyone I’ve talked and what questions he can’t answer he looks into so he can help me with the problem in our next meeting. At one time I was thinking I made a mistake getting this system but thanks to Kayleigh we’re getting the kinks worked out. I can’t thank him enough for all his help, kindness and patience.

Also they have overcharged my bussines multiple months. Dont use them wont recomend them even if is the last system on the market, I rather go back to pen and papper. Rangel G
