United States | 22 October 2020A month after submitting a claim and checking in with multiple follow-ups, I was told that my claim was denied - I would have never known this if I didn't call in to check myself. The representative said it looked like someone meant to call but they just never did. The claim denial is based on Home Guard deciding this was a pre-existing condition, which is not the case, as I provided documentation showing otherwise. Useless to have this home warranty if they will not provide coverage.

I asked about our coverage and the customer service rep. said that we will not be covered fully based on what name brand we have so now I'm worried about this coverage.

United States | 27 September 2020Extremely knowledgeable in all questions I asked about service and procedures. Asked why the competitor seemed to be several $100.00 cheaper. At this point We were delighted to notice the very professionalisms of US Home Guard who in no way spoke down on the competitor no way to place the competition down, however they were Understanding of the differences IN the price. The supervisor even helped to drop my monthly rates to an amount that was comfortable to my budget. I would give US Home Guard more that just five minutes and see they you will be getting the best service for you money! In my experience, I highly recommend this home warranty. You get what you pay as well perfection services!

She explained to me every plan, cost and exactly what would be covered. At first I was hesitant but as we continued our conversation, being an investigator by profession, I did my due diligence and this company has great reviews and satisfactory clients. I agreed to sign up and waiting for my documents.

This company sends out EXTREMELY threatening letters with pure intent to scare unwitting consumers into contacting them to buy into their scam. Bold black text like "FINAL NOTICE" and "HAVE NOT CONTACTED" and "CALL IMMEDIATELY" and "FINAL ATTEMPT" and EXTREMELY URGENT" and "IMMEDIATE RESPONSE REQUESTED" are part of the scam. If their marketing practices are so underhanded and deceptive, then imagine how terrible the actual company is!!!

United States | 24 September 2020Customer service was rude and sarcastic just because I wanted to cancel service. Clearly just want people’s money. Edit: the representative was not professional. I stated that I did not need this service because I am renovating my home and will be replacing my appliances. His response of “you’re replacing everything in a $60,000 home” was rude and insulting. He compared my decision to buying a new car and dropping the factory warranty and then hung up. And then you leave a message on here stating that this is professional and polite? With no option for me to reply. Thus I am writing this edit to bring clarity to this situation. When I am treated poorly simply because I do not choose to pay you for your service, I can only assume you care for my money more than me which explains my second comment in this review. You may consider adding a “reply” feature to these reviews to more easily gather honest feedback. If that is what you desire.
