United Kingdom | 17 July 2019They have no customer service at all. They don't answer the phone, don't reply to messages left or emails and their online message service does not work. I can only assume they have gone bust. Unfortunately I purchased a large number of LED bulbs from them and most of them failed after 1 year.

United Kingdom | 16 July 2019Had about 10% of their LED bulbs fail. Can’t get hold of the company. Avoid.

United Kingdom | 15 July 2019Do Not Purchase from this company! I'm actually of the thinking their apparent Google rating on their website is faked, as it just points to an image on cloudfront.net. I bought 9 ceiling panels and one is faulty. I have left 3 voice messages now and no response. Clearly they do not care about their customers and hopefully will be no more soon. So long as the lights last a year I'll just take the hit and learn my lesson. Shame really, why bother putting the effort into the website only to be so rubbish!

United Kingdom | 12 July 2019Sent out faulty products, can't get hold of them and online email portal also seems to stall, so no communication at all, will not use them again. STAY AWAY!

United Kingdom | 10 July 2019Beware - Very Poor Company. Just had a few of their LED GU10 bulbs fail. Unable to get hold of company to honour their warranty. Tried phone calls, email and their Contact us web interface. No replies............. AVOID

United Kingdom | 27 May 2019Will not honour the 5 year warranty they gave when I bought my bulbs from them. They have recently changed their warranty to 18 months and claim that they have the legal right to apply this to sales they made with the 5 year warranty. This is of course nonsense, but they will not back down, so the only option is legal action. Shame on you, Light Rabbit for conducting business in such a shoddy way!

Ireland | 07 May 2019Recently purchased 10 led 5w cob spotlight bulbs after receiving them I had some issues with few and contacted their customer support team. I can honestly say they couldn't do enough for me , and sent out an immediate replacement. I have purchased a few times in the past from this company and again found them to be very fast delivery and great products. Bought 15 led bulbs that are stilling running for 3 year's now without any problem. So in my opinion I'd recommend this company to anyone who's looking to purchase LEDs or light fittings.

Ireland | 24 April 2019They seem to have gone out of business, no delivery of my order 2 months later, not answering phones or emails. Have initiated paypal claim. Beware as their online shop still takes orders

United Kingdom | 20 March 2019Appalling !! 5 year warranty not being honoured. Do NOT use this company. Built a new house. Deciding factor on buying from this "company" was the 5 year guarantee. fail rate of bulbs has been HIGH

United Kingdom | 26 February 2019Beware this company is not trust worthy! I agree whole heartedly with everything stated in the previous review 1* from Johnathan Selby so no need to repeat it all. I purchased 9 LED bulbs (LIGHTWELL rubbish) from them about 2 years ago and up to present 7 have failed! I registered for a 5 year warrantee. They have now gone back on this and refuse to honour it. They are still advertising a five year warrantee. This is misleading advertising.

United Kingdom | 19 February 2019I've used this company for several years now for energy efficient lighting however recently I had need to call upon the five year advertised warranty on two year old the lamps (flickering on and off), however I was directed to a terms and conditions page which stipulates 18 months which is contrary to the marketing five years on the product details information. There was no exchange just a simple no, and other replies go unanswered, which included screenshots of the product page as it was when I bought, and again today, still marketing five years. Clearly false advertisement. I have had other lamps replaced previously that were in excess of 3 years old, so this looks like a new policy they're trying to enforce, possibly due to an influx of failures. I'd advise anyone to steer clear as when you have a problem it appears this once good company will now avoid you like the plague.. you always find out their ethics and customer service when you have a problem. Addition, some communication today 19/02/2019, basically all website changed to 18 months warranty, and apparently new t and c apply to all orders, including historic ones.. interesting transcript of chat with Pawel available, the only person I've ever interacted with. I'd still avoid due to the moving goal posts and the fact the products do have tendencies to go faulty. Other places may cost pennies more... but give better service.

United Kingdom | 06 February 2019Experienced a problem with trying to order LED bulbs on line today, which I had not encountered when ordering previously. My thanks to Pawel at LightRabbit for his persistence in diagnosing the issue and keeping me informed of progress via the online chat page until the glitch was sorted. Delighted to have been able to re-order the bulbs I wanted. Always prompt, attentive service, and today was no exception. Well done LightRabbit.

United Kingdom | 28 January 2019Purchased a couple of 5w B15 LED Golf Ball Bulbs and one failed after just a few days. I contacted LightRabbit who immediately shipped a replacement. This is not the first time I have had a failure with LED lamps but the supplier has never failed to provide a replacement. A reliable, competitive supplier with great service!

United Kingdom | 14 January 2019Some 4/5 years ago I decided to change all the lights in and around my house to LED, I spent almost £800. That seems like a big invertment but believe it or not I recouped the money in less that 2 years on savings on my energy bills. Yes I have had to replace bulbs but have had NOTHING but 100% success when I asked for replacement items. I think it's fair to remember that you need to ensure you are using the correct bulb in the correct setting, in my experience re-fitting electrical systems domestic customers often abuse the technology them complain then item is not fit for purpose. I say these things not as a Lightrabbit employee or flunky but as someone who understands this new technology (Lightrabbit or any other supplier) has to take the hit on these new generation technologies whilst trying to keep their customers onboard. When I started returning bulbs I read carefully, the returns polict so as not to look a complete fool, I personally sent a photo of the defective item along with the invoice. Personally, I dont remember going back a shop with an old tungsten filament bulb and asking for a free replacement (maybe some of you folks our there who were bold enough to try that one???). I should also say I realise that LED lamps are more expensive and that, im sure is down to developent technoloy in early stages of product releases as factories gear-down on old technologies whilts having to upscale for new ones. When I looked at some of the reviews I was very concerned and this is what motivated me to write this review. I have tried lamps from other companies but found them to be no more reliable than the ones supplied by Lightrabbit. Also, I found their customer services to be inferior to my experience with Lightrabbit. I can, with my hand on my heart and with all honesty say I have NEVER had any issues with this company. I am sure that someone in Lightrabbit HQ will be scoping these reviews and will, I'm sure have some input as to why this is occuring. Update since first review, replacement bulbs ordered Monday 14th January 2019, (2 days ago) arrived today. (16th). As I said above, I have had no issues with this company.

United Kingdom | 07 November 2018The returns process has been an uphill struggle. They are very obstructive over the return of faulty LED's. I wish I had read the TrustPilot reviews before ordering from them. Lesson learnt !

United Kingdom | 15 September 2018I bought 9 LED bulbs and within a year 8 had failed. Lightrabbit were good about replacing the failed bulbs but after 8 had failed including at least one of the replacements I'd had enough and requested a refund, which they agreed to so I returned the bulbs as requested and bought replacements from another supplier. However having returned the bulbs the refund didn't arrive, and they spend the next 2 months refusing to provide the refund with a whole range of excuses including, some unspecified clause in the T&Cs, saying they would only provide a replacement or credit note not refund (no use to me since I'd already bought replacements), saying I would need to return the bulbs for assessment before a refund could be considered (I already had returned them), asking repeatedly what type of dimmer I was using (implying they had failed due to me using the wrong type) despite the fact I'd said several times I was not using a dimmer, and none of the previous lower output bulbs had failed in the previous 7 years. Eventually they did agree again that they would provide a refund but there were then another 2 months of delay and excuses before the refund arrived. Excuses included Paypal rejected the refund as it was over a year ago, we need 2 directors to approve it and they are on holiday for the next 2 weeks, we've sent it (when actually they had just sent the request to the director and it never got approved), we've sent it but it will take 5 working days (when actually it was stuck internally again and the payment system is instant). It took 10s of phone calls and emails from me to get them to eventually pay up which was a huge waste of my time. I will never use Lightrabbit again.

United Kingdom | 20 May 2018I would stay away from these guys, I bought 20, led lights 8 of which were faulty and I got nothing but excuses as to why they couldn't replace them, supplier let them down, they were waiting for custom clearance.. etc when I asked for a refund instead they just stopped replying to emails and after 3 months I never received replacements nor refund. wont be using them again!

United Kingdom | 28 April 2018Not terribly impressed at all. I originally placed an order through their website which wasn't recorded despite the Paypal payment going through fine. They denied all knowledge of my purchase and only *found it* once I opened a Paypal dispute. The bulbs duly arrived but I've now got 3 faulty ones that I'm having great difficulty returning despite being well within the basic warranty period (they say you get 2 yrs standard and can extend to 5 by registering the bulbs with them). So far I've had an email asking me what make and model light switches I'm using. I've replied and am now awaiting a response....and waiting.

Keith, Leopardstown,
Ireland | 27 April 2018Hi have purchased from Lightrabbit for many years now and I have had issues with their website but at Easter they claimed to have a 75% off offer for Easter only and of course when i tried to order light the website would not complete the order giving a delivery option problem. Of course they were not contactable over the Easter break so I emailed them immediately after the break only to be messed around with delayed responses, stupid replies where they asked over and over to explain again what the problem was to and finally an apology email to say the offer had ended, REALLY!!! I KNOW!!!! and 'go away'. Very very let down by them. Not to return again. Keith.
