I have used Glotech previously and was very happy with the service. It was the same again this time. I was able to book an engineer for the next day for our washing machine which had given up. The engineer was very polite and helpful, and plainly very knowledgeable. He was able to check the price of the components needed to repair the machine and sadly it was going to cost more than a new machine, so we decided to go no further with the repair. I will certainly come back to Glotech again for any future repairs.

I found glotech whilst doing an online search for washing machine repairs. I have to say the whole process has been seamless and painless. The online booking process was straightforward, I recieved email confirmation of the appointment, the engineer contacted us to let us know he was 20 minutes away. Wassim was really very, polite, informed us of what he was doing and then what his findings were. He gave us a couple of options to either repair the machine and the cost or replace the machine. His advice was to either contact his team directly or they would contact us today. I contacted the team and spoke to Chris, again had another great experience. He quickly looked up the price of a new machine and answered all my questions. My new washing machine arrives next week and I get £25 off the bill which is an added bonus! I would highly recommend glotech to anyone and everyone. I'm a trainer in service management and glotech have got service management 100000000% right.

Booked service online for tumble dryer whose drum wasn't going round. Got a call back within minutes and an appointment for the next day. The engineer called about 20 minutes before attending. He dealt with the situation, replaced the band showing me the old band and the packet from the new one and then took payment. He was professional and quick. I will use them again if needed.

This company is a joke. Their business model is unethical. At best they are cowboys and at worst this is a scam. They make a call out with a steep (£100+ vat) fee that supposedly covers every visit, but in truth they aren't prepared to make good on their promise. Due to be 9-5, but the engineer turned up a 6pm, stayed 5 minutes, made a 'diagnosis' and ran away. I've told one thing by the engineer, but when I chase up the company regarding the parts that they need to order, they haven't done anything, claim the parts required are different and that the engineering made a different diagnosis to them, making it very expensive. By their own admission, they have a large mark up (unclear how much, but as much as 100%, looking at the quote) on the repair parts required to make a profit. This is to allow them to push the repair price beyond somethaing that's economical, at which point they try to sell you a new replacement product at prices that are considerably higher than on the High Street. If you been unable to get a local repair guy to fix your broken down appliance, don't use these cowboys. EDIT. There is no record of the 'repair' because I've chosen to post the anonymously. You've made it quite clear in the correspondance we had, until you stopped responding, that you won't take anything I say seriously and aren't willing to discuss anything else. So, your reply below (like all the others I've had from you) are simply for show.

Francisco was great. Communicated well, was prompt and efficient with the repair. He was courteous and I am happy with the standard of repair. One disappointment was on Saturday I had a call to pay 'up front' and was led to believe this was mandatory. When I call on Monday it was clarified that this was not.

Called out to fix my fridge. Engineer spent 4 minutes - opened the fridge door, made a statement it must need a re-gas and he couldn’t do it, left with no further advice given. Follow-up was appliance beyond economical repair - sorry. Over £100 for this advice and if you have the audacity to suggest not paying they will hike the price up as a recovery tactic. Be very very very careful dealing with this company. I have started further action to recover funds and reported to trading standards. You should be ashamed of yourselves. *** Update*** After having my appliance checked by a competent engineer, it was discovered it didn't need a re-gas and was a simple thermostat issue. Complete misdiagnosis by Glotech which could have resulted in hundreds of pounds of further expense and wouldn't have resolved the issue.
