United Kingdom | 14 April 2025We booked Glotech to come and look at our Fisher & Paykel fridge freezer, as our waterfilter head was leaking. An engineer came on March 3rd. We were not very impressed, as he didn't appear to be very knowledgeable on this appliance. Infact, my husband had to explain to him exactly what was wrong with it and what he thought it required as a repair! We paid for this visit and for a filter head replacement, a total of £263.18. Your engineer decided there may be another problem with our appliance, but didn’t know exactly what and explained that he would speak to one of his managers and get back to us. He didn’t get back to us and I had to ring to find out what was happening. We then decided just to go ahead with the filter head replacement, but said we were away until the end of March and would book an appointment for an engineer to come when we returned from holiday. I therefore rang on April 2nd, only to be told our filter head new part had still not been ordered!! Customer service told me, during this phone call, that a part had been fitted on March 3rd. I informed them that no part had been fitted on this date! We waited until April 7th for an appointment, to fit our waterfilter head. This appointment was then cancelled due to illness, which can’t be helped, and was rebooked for Wednesday, April 9th. BUT we then get a call to say that the part we require for repair, has not arrived with the engineer and, therefore, we will have to wait for another appointment. On April 11th the same engineer arrived. I was out, and came back to find the repair completed but now the owner of a Fisher & Paykel fridge freezer with a scratch and dent down the left side of the appliance! My husband then tells me that the engineer had not even fitted the new part properly and had to tell the engineer exactly what to do!! We will not be recommending this company to anyone. We have constantly been asked for our feedback. This I gave, but have had no reply. What a surprise!

I also had Andrew who then fitted the faulty part with total efficiency, he was friendly and kept me informed me on what he was doing. I would like to say they were both efficient and knew their jobs, I would not hesitate in recommending them and your company in the future. Thank you.

I had given the model number and possible problem when I booked the visit and was told spares were carried on the van. Now I have to wait for another visit and the part delivered via a courier which causes more complications. The engineer was very pleasant and efficient.
