I recently purchased a stunning looking T5 from Swiss vans, the salesman Mike dealt with us and was not over pushy like many salesman. He gave us plenty of time to look over the vehicle and then arranged a test drive. The sale was agreed and he arranged an oil service and fitting of roof bars and a 12 month AA warranty in the price. The whole transaction was smooth and efficient. I would highly recommend Swiss Vans, the staff were friendly and easy to deal with, the admin was quickly completed, and the vehicle was ready for collection on time.

After finally finding the T5 with all my requirements on at Swiss vans,Mike was a very friendly voice on the end of the phone,he was full of information,if there was anything he was not sure on it was no trouble to find out and get straight back to me. There was a small issue with viewing the van,and if liking it,purchasing it and driving it away the same day. Mike was on the ball to workout away of doing it by talkiing with his team and resolving the issue and getting back to me before I left home. When I pulled up outside Swiss vans Mike greeted me and really didnt have to say much about the van as it was plain to see for myself that it was a tip top van in mint condition,it had been cleaned but the engine had not been steamed cleaned so you could see for yourself if there were any leeks etc. I was happy to purchase,tax and drive away that day............... The second time I've used Swiss Vans and again brilliant service from initial enquiry to delivery of my new T6. All sorted within a month - no pushy sales just calm and assured advice and information from Stuart- would certainly use them again.

This was my first van buying experience so i was a little nervous when searching the classifieds. Until i came across the Van i bought from SwissVans Used. I live 4 hours drive from them so getting as much info as possible before committing to the journey was paramount. Mike pulled out all the stops to make sure i had pictures, videos and other information that i required. I made the trip to confirm my purchase and agree any work/mods that were needed/wanted. All the guys went above and beyond to make sure the van was in tip top shape for me and i couldnt be happier with the van and the service. I would definitely recommend SwissVans for service and peace of mind that you are getting what you expect with no hidden nasties. Just wish i lived closer :)

Dave Tilby was great from start to finish, the van arrived on time and was better than I could have expected... Will definitely call Dave when I'm ready for my next one !!!

If things go wrong be aware that using a broker such as Swiss can leave you stuck between the manufacturer and broker with both claiming that fault lies with the other party. Your contract will lie with the broker so the manufacturer can walk away leaving you to resolve the matter with a broker that has no policies or systems in place to resolve any disputes. Further they then will refute any and all claims leaving you to either walk away unhappy or pursue the matter in court with them. Whilst the matter was of the paint defects that were apparent on the vehicle and it was rejected it took over 5 weeks for them to be resolved under warranty. During this time Swiss provided poor advice little or no information and refused to help speed things up or provide any apparent pressure on the manufacturer leaving me with no van despite having paid in full for one. I was deeply unhappy receiving a repaired, 5 week old van in lieu of the new van I paid for now without the full 3 year warranty or 12 months tax. I was not satisfied with the level of compensation provided and sought for the warranty to be extended as a compromise which was refused. I repeatedly tried to get Swiss to provide and agree to an arbiter or dispute resolution service which, despite being required to by recent legislation, they refused leaving me having to either walk away spitting mad or pursue the matter in court. Whilst there are many satisfied customers the true measure of a company is how they respond when things go wrong and in this case I believe Swiss fell well below the standard that I expected of them. Neither of the following statements by Ian Hill of Swiss Vans in his response are factually correct. "Our suggestion was to have the repair done locally as it was literally a case of bolting on 4 pre painted hinges that should take no more than a day if pre painted." No suggestion was ever made to me in writing or verbally about local repairs. "A typical VW warranty paintwork claim takes a minimum of 5 weeks we find. Of this you were made aware." I was never made aware at any time how long it would take - no one would actually answer that question,.

I'll keep it short. Great all round company, did what they said they were going to do & organised everything very well.:-)

What a breath of fresh air to deal with such a passionate and professional company, where nothing is too much trouble for their customers. Greg and the team at Swiss Vans delivered our VW T6 van with the exact spec we requested at a great price. They even planned the work in two phases to accommodate an early delivery, allowing us to use the van at an event just days after it coming into stock.
