Proper training and expectations were relayed and I had conformation of mission success and pending payment within a few hours from uploading pictures. Look forward to flying again for DroneBase!

It's payment option makes it easy for any drone operator to collect their compensation and your drone instructional "how to " video is also well organized. Drone Base, very professional!

I stopped using this company due to the consistent issues I would have while trying to get aerial photos/videos back. After about 6 months of using other photographers, I went back to try DroneBase again and found that their website had been vastly improved and is far more intuitive. DroneBase is now my go to for any type of photos I need, and I am grateful they invested the time and money into making their photo/video ordering experience that much better for their customers.

They are pretty easy to work with and have paid me quickly for any jobs that I’ve done. Would definitely like to do a lot more jobs for them.

United States | 08 March 2019I was a contracted drone operator for this company for almost 1 year. I only had 4 paid missions during that period. Each mission was pretty much the same workload & deliverable yet each job paid less and less. This is NOT good business for those wanting to perform legitimate work.. I almost got the sense they were fishing to see just how little I'd work for. Like many other online based businesses these days, there is no transparency on these types of issues. Their pricing is such that nobody is coming out on top. Drone service operations are a luxury, not a necessity. The customer should be charged a premium for drone services, All you are doing is souring and making detractors out of new operators by paying so little, plus driving the market prices down. Operators in hot climates are forced to wear warm clothing while on-site as-per the dress code. I understand wanting to portray professionalism but at what cost? If the pilot has to wear long pants and a polo shirt in 100 degree temperatures at 90% humidity, all that does is make him/her that much more uncomfortable and less focused on the task at hand. The owners/creators of DroneBase are in California, they have not the slightest clue what real heat is. Come to East Texas in July/August, I dare you! You guys would be crying within 10min of sun exposure. Here's a better dress code for high temp climates: Khaki shorts, clean tennis shoes, light colored polo shirt or DroneBase branded pilot T-Shirt (more revenue for you guys), any type of reasonable baseball cap or sunhat. In all, it wasn't a horrible experience. Just lacked a lot. The last six months I figured DroneBase went under because I had zero job notifications or any emails/communications from them at all. No news letters or anything, just silence. If DroneBase decides to up the pricing to a point that makes sense and let people dress themselves, I might consider signing up again but I'm not holding my breath.
