Paint looks a good match. But then use the blender product and it goes sooo much darker then totally removes the paint from the repair. Even used an air brush to apply it, it did the same thing. Left it to dry 24 hrs, the blending solution did the same thing. Just left it filled with the paint and left it. Does not do what it says on the tin at all. Expensive paint with no end results imop

Great all in one kit !!! It's so easy to order the correct paint for your car, just give them the reg when ordering. It's very easy to use and the instructions are extremely thorough and clear, I've only done 1 chip on the roof so far but there's plenty paint and I'll be doing the rest of the chips on the car straight away. Well worth the money!!!!!

Merc C220 coupe / obsidian black: colour match was spot on, application is really simple as any excess can be wiped away with the provided solution and cloth. I’d recommend using the brush provided (I tried a tooth pick and it was rubbish) and just do multiple layers for deep fills. I had about 20 stone chips to fill and so bought the small pack; I have enough kit left to do the same job another 20 times. All in all a fantastic all in one product and would highly recommend

Paint supplied for a white tesla in a touch kit £49ish. the colour dries cream and sticks out like a sore thumb, i bought a £7.99 touch up bottle of ebay almostm spot on maybe a touch white. The chipex paint if you use the blending solution either does do much if the paint had dried or just removes the paint. just to note i use panel wipe to ensure no contaminates are present. ive nearly used the whole kit wiping it off then on. i would imagine i cannot return for a refund as ive used the product. the return policy states returned mustbe in original packaging and no used?? very expensive and no results.

Excellent results, clesr instructions on how to use. Works like magic, no need to go paint shop for scratche and stone chips.

I have to admit that I only bought this kit because Mercedes no longer sell a touchup pen for my car, which is now 35 years old, but I’m so glad I did! I had an initial query with my order when it arrived and when I called Chipex the phone was answered quickly by a friendly and helpful human! The colour is exactly right and whilst it might not perform miracles for you, the system works incredibly well- it is far better than my experience of using touchup pens and you really do have to know where the repairs are and look quite closely to see any evidence of them. It is possible that after a bit of practice I may be able to perform completely invisible repairs.

Chipex is a really great product. Its defiantly not like having a re-spray, but it does a great job of covering up stone chips etc. You just have to use it properly and let it dry before you "blend" it with the cars paint. I didn't wait long enough and removed the paint I was putting on. Then I started to leave it several minutes to dry then it worked a treat.

Great product! Paint matched the bodywork quite well however, the blending solution was a bit of let down in the sense that it removed the paint you put down even with conservative application so took more than a few trys. On the whole excellent.

Costs a little bit more than a touch up pen but you get everything you need with the kit. I'm sure you'd pay more if you bought thinners and polish separately to a pen. It worked really well for me. You can still see the chip when you look closely but it's a huge improvement. I doubt you'd get a better finish without respraying the panel. Great product.

Unfortunately cars get scratch or bumped. I have had two done to me in car parks but I discovered Chipex a little while ago and I must say using the product really does an extremely good job of repairing

I have recently completed a few paint repairs on my car, 1 of which was a really deep and long scratch that I didn’t think would turn out great. However after being quoted £500 for a professional job I thought I would give it a go! And actually I was amazed, only I can see the damage as I know it’s there but if you didn’t know you would never see it! Definitely recommend!!

Chipex gave a great color match however the finish despite the cost was disappointing. Havign watched the tutorial videos and read the reviews I had high hopes that by using Chipex I would be able to repair many of the stone chips on my car. I cleaned the area as recommended and applied the paint using the applicators. Having left the paint a few minutes to harden I used their buffing cloth and pad to lightly remove any excess. No matter how lightly I tried to do this (and I tired many times!) I always ended up with a concave finish yes the paint covered the primer showing below but at no time was I able to get close to a blemish free finish Chipex promote. In review save your money and buy a standard paint pen and use polishing cream and a powered polisher to take off the excess.

I really don’t know what I’m doing wrong but simply can’t get the paint chip repair to work properly. Either stays on the surface like a blob or when I try to smooth off with the solution then the whole lot is taken out despite being really careful. Also colour match on grey metallic is not good so chips remain highly visible.

I used the Chipex Paint Chip Repair System on my BMW Z3 which has been neglected and abused for the last 25yrs (by previous owners!). The bumper and front of the bonnet especially are peppered with paint chips, along with a handful around the rest of the car. This product was so easy to use, I thought I was doing it wrong. I must admit I thought something had gone horribly wrong when I applied a bunch of dots of paint and my car looked like it had chicken pox, however after following the instructions, when I rubbed them with the blending agent, the paint lightened and in many cases left no sign on the paint chip at all. On some of the deeper chips they are still visible, however are now at least the correct colour rather than bare metal/rust. I will have another go in the future on those and see if I can build the paint up to fill the deeper chips

Expensive but, they say if you buy cheap you buy twice! A first rate product from an excellent company
