The doctor was lovely, friendly and made me feel calm. The connection on the video wasn't great but I think that was my fault. I will definite use this service again. Thank you!

Recommended/ excellent service

What a dream service! No more waiting in congested waiting rooms or trying to grab an available appointment at the doctor surgery. This is a fast, professional and easy service. My daughter had a sports injury and from the first contact with video doc to getting a X-ray with a referral letter was all done within 60 minutes!

An easy way to speak to a GP if unable to get an appointment with your own GP. Had issues with sound using the video link but the doctor just phoned through instead.

I waited less than five minutes for a appointment. Discussed my medical problem with Doctor. Felt very comfortable in my own home having this discussion. It felt very private and confidential and very unhurried. Doctor very professional and courteous. Issued a prescription to the chemist of my choice. Great value for fee. Brilliant service and will be using it completely from now on.

Great service, so efficient and easy to use and reassuring to know you can speak to a doctor so quickly there and then as getting an appointment with your own GP can be a ridiculous wait. My only snag was the referral letter to A&E was not there when I got there. This however was a problem with Tallaght hospital's fax machine and their policy of not taking emails. I heard from reception that the VHI Doctor had rang them direct to explain she was trying to fax through a referral unsucccessfully. Fax machines are nearly a thing of the past these days so perhaps a better process could be found?

Beats the waiting room anyway!! Filled in the online consult form and got a call from the doctor within 10 minutes. Five minutes later we were all sorted. This is a fantastic service although obviously does not negate the need for a trip to the GP's waiting room at times but as a starting point and for dealing with minor issues I would highly recommend.
