Scaffolding and Installation crew did a fantastic job, everything was done in a few days

Project Solar were efficient, provided great communication at every stage of the project. The project was completed timely and within the timescale which was given at the time of the quote. The initial quote was non-obligatory which gave us time to scrutinise and do our own figures. From the time of agreeing the contract, to full installation was less than 2 weeks. Would recommend.

We had a really good experience with Project Solar. The sales person attended our property to talk us through everything at a convention time for us and was very informative. Once we decided to go with Project Solar they kept in regulat contact with us via phone and email and were always on hand to answer any questions we had. They even called us everytime someone attended the house from their team to check we were happy. The instalation team were very professional and talked us through exactly what they would be doing on the day and even ask us our preference on the configuration of the solar panels, the location of the battery and the way in which the wiring would come into our house to allow us to continue with out loft extension with minimal disruption. They left everything clean and tidy and were very polite. following instalation Project Solar continued regular contact to ensure we were happy and provided us with emails and phone calls to ensure we fully understood the paperwork we would be receiving and how to use thoes to inform the energy company to change our tariff. Overall a very positive and delightful experience.

From the planning meeting to completed installation it was only two weeks. The system was fully described to me and fitted my requirements. Scaffolding was erected the day before installation of the system and removed the following week. The installation team were friendly and polite and cleared away all the system packaging before leaving. All in all a pleasant experience from start to finish. The system is already producing sufficient energy to cover all my needs, even on dull February days.

Our salesman was extremely thorough and the whole process through to installation was very smooth and we were kept informed at each stage. All the scaffold team, the electricians and the panel installers were very efficient as well as being polite and considerate. They all kept the site tidy.

Utterly atrocious. Despite us making it clear from the beginning of our '90 minute consultation' that we would not be signing up to buy today as we wanted to get other quotes, after nearly four hours we still got given a 'buy it now price' and ridiculously hard sell. I was just about to threaten to call the police when the guy finally gave up and left. Do not let them into your home.

Do yourself a favour and stay away from this company. Every statement they make is a lie, including loan payback, energy payback...... They are one big rotten scammers. The quality of work is good but the salesmen are one big pack of liars.

Unbelievable! A solar company Salesperson arrived unannounced 1 hour earlier than agreed and was required to wait half an hour until we were available, during which time they measured up the available roof space using google maps. We were hoping for a quote and to find out about the company and benefits of using them. When the meeting started the Salesperson proceeded to ask many personal questions and wanted to take photos such as of my fuse box. There was no explanation of why they were there, what their company did or how it could benefit my household. Instead, we were bombarded with questions as if we were about to sign an agreement. I offered to share details but when I explained my energy statements were online, I could only share the details, and that we would not provide a paper copy there and then, the Salesperson promptly closed their ipad and left, in less than 15 minutes of starting the meeting. I still don’t know anything about the company or what they were trying to sell me and what benefit we could have, or how much it might cost. I was given an ultimatum to provide personal information and a personal document about my energy usage or they would leave. So, I let the Salesman leave. Beware of this inflexible company ! Very Poor Customer Relations.

The whole process was completed speedily and professionally by all the staff involved in the project. Guidance was given at each stage including connecting to Octopus as the network provider

We had solar panels fitted after a meeting with Ali who was professional and polite throughout his visit. With what is a rather confusing(for us) process Ali was at the end of the phone for advice and to answer any questions we had.

A seamless operation, everyone really informative and workmanship carried out to perfection. Will always recommend to new clients.

The salesman Andy at Project Solar told me that I could receive substantial intro fees for recommendations I made - I made 2 intros: one (my friend) wasn't contacted at all and the other (my brother) wasn't dealt with properly which meant that that didn't end up resulting in a sale either - as no sales were made, I was unable to earn referral fees so I am effectively hundreds of pounds out of pocket. They also didn't recommend bird proofing at time of installation, so that needed fitting retrospectively (as pigeons started nesting under my panels within 2 weeks of installation) and, lastly, they installed my battery and inverter in my loft which is against fire safety guidelines and therefore need moving which is apparently going to cost me £650. All in all, not sure I would recommend Project Solar unfortunately.

We’ve had a great service from start to finish. Larry explained everything that we would receive, earn, not have to worry over, etc. Scaffolding company came along, setup and were gone in a flash, the solar fitters were very similar, came along, setup and ran over everything before leaving. Again, can’t fault anything and would definitely recommend using them.

A brilliant service from start to finish with Project Solar. Simon Stanmore initially came out to do the assessment and talk me through it. He was very helpful, patient and informative. From the time of signing up, my installation was only days. The Electrician and fitters only took hours to install the system and were very friendly. Overall a very good experience and I would definately recommend.

Fast and efficient from start to finish. Quote was delivered extremely well with a breakdown of all costs and predicted savings. Installation was done within 2 weeks of accepting the quote. Battery and inverter was installed very securely and cables neat and tidy. The team were very polite and did not just throw it in and run. They also took me through the associated app.

Never turned up to the appointment - took a morning off work only to be told 30 mins before that they weren't coming. I'm trying to find a reputable solar company, but it doesn't sell well if you dont honour your agreed appointments.

The staff have been very professional and helpful from the first call to after sales.They did not waste any time at all.

The initial salesman who came to speak to us was very pushy and insistent that we sign a contract on the spot, which was strange and completely unreasonable. Installing a solar PV system with storage battery is pretty complex and there are lots of parameters to consider - there was no way I could make a decision there and then having only just seen the quotation. I declined and the whole experience put me off… … however, a different colleague from Project Solar (Nathan) called me back a few months later with a courtesy call to check the state of play, see where our thinking had got to and answer my questions. From this point onwards, the whole experience with Project Solar has genuinely been five-star - I couldn’t be happier. Nathan spent a lot of time and effort working through my questions, as did his colleagues Chris and Nathaniel. We considered different options for the installation, battery size, type of panels, they guided me through how this could fit with my existing panels in the best way, oversaw the DNO application, all with great responsiveness, technical knowledge and professionalism. The installation itself went smoothly - the guys who came on site were again very polite, professional and made sure they designed things with my needs in mind (discrete cable runs and conduits etc.) Derry led this as the electrician on site and was a pleasure to work with. He and his colleagues took the time to talk me through the Fox app, how it all worked and what I needed to do. Finally, the after care following the installation has again been superlative - Kane and colleagues in the office have been fantastic in helping me configure the system to make the most of my import/export tariffs, answering my questions and providing all manner of helpful advice. These guys really do care about their customers and I have been really impressed. Oh, and the system itself is top notch - working really well, easy to monitor and control, and integrated with Octopus’s tariffs and my electric vehicle. Even without much sunshine over the winter, the battery by itself has been a game changer in allowing us to use cheap overnight electric rates for all our usage. In short - great products, great company from design, through installation and aftercare, and a great customer experience with truly expert support. I would definitely recommend them if you are looking for a solar installation. I’m very glad Nathan called me back after our initial (oddly unfortunate) sales visit!!
