The whole process was very positive; from introducing the benefits of a solar panel and battery system, to preparing an accurate price for the work that does not change, through to the professional and efficient installation and most importantly the after care service to ensure that the system performs as the design intended.

Every person i spoke to was knowledgeable, friendly, polite and could answer all the questions i had. Communication was spot on, prompt and made sure that every time slot was met. All staff and installers where friendly, helpful and went above and beyond.

old trading technique indeed. I felt trapped completely. I made very clear that I do not want to install or make decision but just want to check what kind a budget I need. They will not give you full detail until you agree to commit to buy. It is true if a tradesman says that discount offer is only available if you sign today , please don't. This tactic is like scammer. I agreed to accept their long term payment plan stretching my monthly budget to the max , and surprise surprise , Octopus Flux sent me a note that I will be actually paying more for electricity than I was before so why do I have these solar panels? It was supposed to save me some money but well , here I am. I would agree with other customers to stay away of any company who tells you that they offer the discount only if you sign today , show them the door.

The Installation: the installation engineer was very professional, he was very informative and explained everything about the installation and completed the job within the time framed. after completing the solar panel installations, he once again explained on how the system works and how to monitor the system with downloaded apps.

Really impressed with Project Solar installation team. The panel installation itself went really smoothly and all was installed within a matter of hours. The electricians followed up and were brilliant. The last action was to download the FoxCloud app and demonstrate how it worked. Very neat installation of battery and associated cabling in loft space. Definitely a happy customer.

Please please please get another couple of quotes for solar panels. This company quoted me over £16,000 for a system and having just having received a new quote from a very reputable company I have been quoted £9,200. PSUK wanted to put 10 panels on my roof, 6 at the rear (in sun all day) and 4 on the front (not in sun and has moss growing on roof) which would have generated very little if any power. My experience with the salesman was good and I told him I wouldn't sign up on the day, he asked a day to call me back and a week was agreed, no phone call yet after almost 2 weeks! All I am saying is don't just accept this quote if it's the first time you have enquired do a bit more research so you aren't ripped off.

The installation team worked quietly, cheerfully and efficiently. Afterwards they gave an explanation of the process, including setting up the app.

I was thoroughly impressed by Project Solar. They maintained good levels of contact throughout the sales and project stages of delivery (unlike some of the other vendors I entertained for a while). They were responsive to feedback too in terms of their proposed package of work and devices. The scaffolders, roofers and electrician were all really lovely too and the installation on the day was incredibly efficient (done in around 3 hours, in my case). Would definitely recommend to others.

Project solar kept me informed from the start. When I hesitated about the affordability of the costs of installation I was given a second option that cost less with more up-to-date equipment and once we had decided to accept the contract it was a short time before the scaffolding was put up in readiness for the solar panels to be put into place. The office checked that the scaffolders had been and that the engineers had turned up as planned. The follow up has been good too.

We wanted to know more so contacted Project Solar. They arranged for a consultant to come and review our house and advise. He gave clear, simple and extremely helpful advice based on all the measurements he took. We could have had 12 panels but 8 fitted as one neat line across our roof and he appreciated the need for us to feel we wished the panels to be in harmony with the roof line. He also advised to change electricity suppliers to another company which offers an active system to ensure we buy electricity when it is cheapest and to export it at best price. He changed our supplier for us. We signed up as there was a very good deal available. Just over a week later, as negotiated with the company scaffolders arrived and in a couple of hours they had the scaffolding up. Next day an electrician arrived and a roofer; in 5 hours the job was done including hoovering our hall carpet. The pair of 4.1 batteries were swiftly charging and the app the electrician set up for us showed what was occurring in an easy to follow active diagram. It was a well oiled human machine as it were. We were impressed and can happily recommend Project Solar to any interested in purchasing solar panels, an inverter and a storage battery. We are already seeing a return on our investment.

The planned installation got delayed by just under a month due to issues with the scaffolders and national grid which I had to keep chasing for as no one at project solar was getting back to me, thankfully it did all eventually get resolved and I am happy with the installation so far, it seems the installation was more complicated than was originally sold and seems like no one technical looked at the proposed design until the day of installation which considering we were delayed by a month seems very poor planning but to the installers credit they resolved any issues on the day. Time will tell if it was worth it in the long run.

From start to finish they have streamlined their solar panel service, from the easy application process for finance via banking portal to the quick scaffold setup and next day installation, which only took 4 hours to complete, the install team went over the mobile application and answered any questions I had about the system.
