I bought a jacket from them and it was on sale. Coming all the way from italy to USA. The jacket was really nice but sadly it was too small for me and have to return it. I contacted customer service and processed return service. The lady that helped me is Perla and she kept in touch with me through the whole process! They have top notch customer service and went above and beyond! Thank you so much for the help and i will sure purchase and support the company and buy from them.

How to turn a customer away from you forever: 1. Don’t tell your customers about local taxes and import duties (or tell them vagely). It’s not just your 20% VAT. Import duties in my case ended up amounting to a whopping 45%+ of the price of the item (£110 over £244). 2. Don’t mention that in the case of return (wrong size), customs fees are non-refundable. Oh, and so is the shipping. Yeah, it’s all in the small print, thank you. Not helpful. So I thought I’m paying a £244 for a pair of shoes. I ended up paying £360, and then when I returned them because the size was wrong, £120 of that amount is not refundable (or more? I didn’t get my refund yet)! 🤬 3. By the way, for my return, I booked a pick up slot, but the courier didn’t show up. Cherry on a cake in my “fabulous” customer experience. Never again am I shopping on Coltorti. Shopbop, net-a-porter etc. are SO much customer-oriented. But the saddest things of all, because of this I now don’t have the budget anymore to buy the shoes that I love 😥 P.S. Dear Coltorti Customer Support team, please don’t even bother copying your standard reply referencing your policy. Even if it’s in your policy, truth is that the policy is VERY unfriendly, non-competitive and is negatively affecting your reputation. So many negative reviews here should be a massive red flag to the management of the company, and the fact that Customer Support can not or doesn’t want to do anything about it means that it’s not going to stay in the business for too long).

After purchasing my products, I then received an email stating “ Please note that the product prices do not include local taxes and import duties for orders being shipped to United Kingdom. DHL will present you with a separate invoice to be paid upon delivery. We are unable to provide an estimate of these charges, since they are calculated by the local customs office”. This was stated before purchase with incredibly small writing under the price. Or you must specifically go looking for it on the shipping page I was unable to cancel my order after recovering the confirmation and therefore paid more than the items are worth on other websites. I will not be using this website again!
