The service is great. The reps and tutors answer promptly. There are no membership charges. No surprises. Costs are upfront. I paid after each session. This website has a selection qualified and experienced tutors. We had such a positive experience and are open to future tutoring when needed. Grades and confidence in tests increased. Also, we are more likely to ask a tutor for help when needed so we can move forward quicker and build confidence and get creative.

the reason for the 3 stars is by no means for the tutor, he is fantastic. The 3 stars is for the application/site itself. We have yet to have a successful session online... we have had to use other measures in order to complete a session. The "technical difficulties" with the site when you "join the session" is not easily done. It continues to say "waiting for permission" or some other issue and will not log on successfully. Our first session worked for about 20 minutes and then we lost audio capabilities and then switched to another form of media in order to finish the session.

Through the years, Wyzant has helped our family find tutors in the subjects of essay writing, Calculus and computer programming. Their tutors have been knowledgeable, patient and usually were willing to meet us at our house or the local library. I don’t know how kids get through some subjects without a tutor! I highly recommend Wyzant!

He made appointments that inconvenience him to ensure that I understood the material in my course. After four or five sessions I took assessment and passed.
