Purchased a Kenwood digital car stereo but had problems from the offset, screen mirroring never worked, Bluetooth cuts out during a call and stereo turns itself off and on! Contacted car audio centre and they would not exchange, only gave me an address of a repair centre to send the stereo to which would leave me with no stereo in my vehicle for weeks! Absolutely appalling after sales service!!

Ordered a sub excellent price was informed it was not available but a different unit was available which was better value ! Item was dispatched quickly excellent customer service too .

Quick to sell items not in stock then change lead times to over 2 months & increase the prices. You have to chase because they don't bother keeping you updated. Don't trust their online stock levels.

Good cables works ok

Ordered a £700 stereo and Fascia on Tuesday with next day delivery - both items in stock on website. Thursday called asking where it was. Got told fascia was out of stock and order would be sent when it arrived. I asked to cancel fascia and send the stereo, and also asked for postage of £8 to be refunded for the inconvenience. Was told they couldn't do that. I asked if they'd rather I cancelled the whole order and leave some bad reviews online? Apparently they would as they chose to cancel the order themselves instead of refunding me £8 and keeping a customer happy.

Excellent quality product delivered on time will use them again !

The guys at Car Audio Centre (Illford) were amazing - I ordered an underseat subwoofer off the online store (on sale) then took it into the store and they installed it for a great price, absolutely perfect job, and they were very accommodating with fitting me in on the day. But more than anything, they were just wonderful guys who were a joy to deal with. The In Phase USW300 is a fantastic choice for a small car too (Ford Fiesta) - I've not tried the Kenwood competitor (which was my original plan) but knowing what I do about audio equipment (and reading reviews of the Kenwood dying, presumably from pushing the smaller amp too hard), I'm very glad I upgraded. The USW300 is plenty, but I also wouldn't want much less. Overall a great experience, and highly recommended in all ways.
