Camilo and Juan delivered our couch and did an amazing job. Best customer service I’ve had for furniture delivery. My favorite part was when they washed their hands before putting the fabric on.

Camilo and Alex were absolutely fantastic. On time, very respectful, and fast. It was clear they wouldn’t leave until everything was perfect and even helped me move the couch a few times to make sure I was happy with the location.

The team were really helpful. I had just washed the floor in preparation for the sofa arriving, and they didn't mind waiting, just got started unpacking everything. Then they actually helped me with the rug underneath, before the sofa was placed. They were very polite, and communicative. Great experience!

Alex and Ian were the most excellent handlers, making my first-ever high-end couch more than perfect! They handled the packages with care, providing me with helpful information on maintaining them at the essential to professional levels. They were also efficient while having warm conversations. Even though I received the wrong fabric because of my carelessness in purchasing, I was lucky to discover that the basic fabric is excellent! I also appreciate 7th Avenue's 30-day free exchange service, so I can exchange the fabric cover for the one I was supposed to buy: Onyx (velvet) to synch our piano. However, the basic one might be good for people who love washing them more frequently.

We had the best experience with our delivery and assembly. Ian and Alex were attentive to detail, efficient, and professional. They took the boxes/trash out and even worked around my dog. Very stress free experience. The couch looks beautiful in our living room and it’s super comfortable.

Drove up to the NY store from Delaware over the holiday… traffic was a nightmare and I was about 15 mins late for my 430 pm appointment. I called the store customer service rep, at 330pm to inform him of the traffic and my eta: 445pm. I was reminded that my appointment was 430-5pm but said he would see that I was taken care of. Upon my arrival, the rep was ABSOLUTELY 100% UNINTERESTED IN SELLING ME THE SOFA. After reading so many rave reviews about the 7th Avenue customer service experience, I was confused that my experience was so underwhelming. There was no selling, education going on whatsoever. I was basically just looking, feeling the couches in person… I don’t even think I sat on one, and without a real discourse between the rep and I about the furniture, this only took about 10 minutes. It was awkward to say the least. It honestly felt like he was annoyed that I was late for our appointment and just couldn’t recover to make the sale. So, in sum, I drove 4 hours from DE which should have taken 2.5 - 3 hours to look at a couch for 10 minutes. During our final two minutes together, a couple strolled in from the street with no appointment according to them and the rep was more pleasant, interested, and engaging with them than he was with me —during my appointment! At this point, it was 456pm. I requested two swatches from the displayed swatch pile, Natural White and Oat Chenille, then casually made my exit. When a woman drives 4 hours to see a couch during the holidays, it’s highly likely she is coming to make a purchase. If the couch stood up to the online reviews, I fully intended to purchase the couch that day. I would have been a very very EASY sale as my mind was already made up, but the service gave me pause to say the least. In fact, the service experience made me question the authenticity and integrity of the reviews on the 7th avenue website and brought me to other customer review sites. I still may purchase the sofa, but not before visiting Arhaus, which is only 50 minutes away. Hopefully, 95 is accident free. UPDATE: 7th Ave customer service department just reached out to offer me a better experience and apologize for what occurred during my visit. I felt it was sincere, kind, and good business. It made me feel better. Seems like my experience may have been primarily attributed to the representative rather than the company. Sincerely, Mrs6Gsonasofa

I have had this sofa for about a year now, and honestly, I regret the purchase. It's extremely uncomfortable. The back is low, and I can feel it jabbing me in the back through the cushion, which is just cheap fiber fill. I can add more filling, but then it's too overstuffed and hard. It's also very uncomfortable to lie on. You can feel the joints and the seat cushions are puffy in the middle and slope down on the sides. This is a torture device, not a couch. The fabric is not actually waterproof. I thought spills would be easier to clean up, but I still have to pull the cover off and wash it. Pet hair also sticks to it and it snags constantly. The metal on my jeans pocket pulled the fabric yesterday. Finally, the couch joints don't align properly, no matter what I do, so there are huge unattractive gaps. This was too expensive to be so uncomfortable and cheaply constructed.

I just received my couches, so the quality seems good for now. However, I had a bad experience with the delivery. When I purchased the couches in person, I was told that they were going to be delivered and assembled at the same time, so I paid extra for that. When I got them, the Fed Ex person told me that they could only leave the 12 boxes outside of my front door and that I had to call support to schedule the assembly. This was a day before Thanksgiving, and I had to push all 12 boxed inside my house by myself. I am a petite woman, and this was very difficult for me. Then I had 12 boxes laying in my living room and I was hosting Thanksgiving the next day. I called support and I was told that they did not know when they could send someone to assemble the pieces. I got very upset and threaten to send them back, not until I did that, someone said they were going to send someone the same day. I thought I was dealing with a reputable company, but I was disappointed. Their delivery system needs to be better. I was misinformed. Not a good experience to say the least.

I’ve had the deep seat sectional sofa in oatmeal beige for about 4 months now, and honestly, I’m pretty disappointed in the quality for the price point. I spent $6000 for a 5-piece sectional and wish I went with the other sofas I was considering from places like Crate and Barrel or Arhaus. I was sold on the idea of removable, washable covers that repelled liquids, as demonstrated in the videos online since we have pets and young, messy children, but the material is very scratchy, not comfortable, and not water repellent at all. In fact, all liquids seem to soak directly into the fabric as soon as they touch, and though I have good luck most of the time with Folex spray, I feel as if the advertisements were misleading. The overall look of the sofa is frumpy and cheap, even after I spent hours steaming everything. The cushions are lumpy and not comfortable. The back cushions are not attached to anything and are really just big pillows. The sections are held together by metal hinges that swivel too much, so I asked for extra ones that don’t come standard, which helped a bit. Overall, the sofa just has a cheap look and feel and is not worth the price point.

Hi everyone! Writing this review just to help out some other people, and tell them transparently about my experience with 7th Avenue. I had my couch delivered yesterday, and they actually sent me incorrect parts. In addition, some of the parts don't fit together properly (I believe they must be defective). While this is something I would expect from a company like Wayfair I was extremely disappointed that this would be happening after waiting weeks for the couch to arrive. The couch overall isn't really that great of quality (nothing aligns properly on this couch...), but I guess it's not SUPER expensive, so whatever. I would say you could probably find a cheaper couch for the same quality level. It's also SO difficult to put together...which is a crazy misconception about this couch. If you are going to buy this couch PAY FOR ASSEMBLY. So now that I have had this negative experience, I am in a rabbit hole on the internet and discovering that a lot of people have had my negative experience. Moreover, there seems to be a lot of chatter that many of 7th Avenue's positive reviews are fake/paid. Really concerning. I haven't had the couch for even a day so I can't comment on the quality completely, although people's comments on here definitely have my panicked. Especially considering I refuse to return the couch (can't even imagine...what a nightmare) and will be keeping it. My main complaint currently would be regarding customer service. I emailed the person who sold me the couch at the Nolita location last night very upset. I specifically asked if someone would call me to talk to me... no call back today. I called corporate customer service at +1 (877) 644 - 1506 to try to get help, they told me "their servers were down" and that they couldn't help me right now, and that they would call me back. They never called me back. I tried calling the Nolita store, no one answered. Left a message, no one called me back. I posted a review on Google Reviews and 7th Avenue basically gaslit me and told me that I must have called the wrong support number ( I didn't, I called the correct number – and since you told me you recorded the call I'm sure you can pull the call to hear your employee tell me your servers were down). The sales rep who sold me the couch eventually did shoot me and email to tell me he was "working on it". I do believe him. He seems like a nice guy, and it's nothing against him (which is why I will not use his name). He said they were too overwhelmed with the Black Friday Sale to address it immediately, which in my opinion is no excuse. But overall just a really terrible experience and don't feel great about doing business with this company.

I bought a 5 seat modular lounge sofa classic in Emerald Green. It's beautiful and very cozy. I feel asleep on this couch. The customer service is great with the entire team at 7th avenue. They call you back and respond to email in a timely manner. I initially started the process with Justin who is amazing. He showed me the virtual showroom with the different fabric. I originally was going to choose the Greige fabric, but I ended up buying the emerald green velvet after it was on sale. The extra deep was unavailable, but it would have been out of my budget range. The classic sofa is bigger than I expected. Imagine, if you get the extra deep. You can take off the classic back cushion if you want to sleep and get more room or if guest comes. I thought about upgrading to the extra deep, but it's not really necessary. The velvet is so soft. I wish they have beige or grey in that color. Overall, I am so pleased with the purchase. It's worth the investment. I coose to have a third party assembly and they were professional and you could have asked them any questions regarding on how to fixed the sofa. The sofa is heavy once assemble. It doesn't move and you don't feel the screw that joins the seats. I can't believe I purchased a sofa without sitting on it. Shipping took about two weeks from when the order was placed. I didn't expect to receive the sofa so fast. I am posting this review as the reviews helped me make the decision to purchase this sofa online.
