I had refractive lens surgery at HCA Wilmslow Hospital under Mr Say Aun Quay im March. The process was quick, pain free and exactly as the process had been explained in the consultation. The results have been great and I no longer need to wear glasses for either my short or long distance sight issues. So pleased I had this done. The follow up care was excellent and I would highly recommend Mr Say Aun Quah to anybody considering this procedure.

In October I saw Mr Quah at the Wilmslow Hospital to discuss my growing cataracts and deteriorating vision. I was extremely nervous but as he examined them and explained the procedures I felt a growing confidence in him and agreed to have the surgery I needed for both eyes over two months in February and March. I found Mr Quah and his team kind, helpful and efficient at all times. The aftercare was excellent and it was a thoroughly positive experience. I visited the eye correction surgery a few months ago and was worried about the procedure that was going to take place due to risks I had read up on. Mr Goel was beyond helpful and would go above and beyond to explain each procedure that was available to me and was extremely knowledgeable on all procedures. This put my mind completely at ease so that I felt confident that I was ‘in good hands’ on the day. I opted for ‘smile’ eye surgery and was told that this treatment can not always guarantee 100% perfect vision which I was happy with as the treatment was less invasive. From initial review, pre-op assessment, surgery and then follow up checks and final review all were exceeding straightforward. All the information I needed or requested were provided in a clear and easy to understand way. Mr Quay is very easy to talk to, explained all the steps necessary in a clear and understandable manner. Any questions or issues I had were addressed.

I had my left eye cataract operation in Spain in 2017 where I lived at the time. At my initial appointment with Mr Quah I explained this to him. He felt that my lens implant was still working very well and said he would try to source the same make of lens for my right eye, which he did. At all times Mr Quah answered all my questions and put me at ease about the operation. I am very pleased with the service received and the fact that my sight has improved.

I had laser eye surgery with Dr Goel at the end of last year. Dr Goel put me at ease from my first visit, he was very informative, helpful and explained everything I needed to know in laymans terms. While I felt apprehensive for my surgery Dr Goel and his team made a real effort to make it as seamless as possible and I felt a real sense of care from those supporting the treatment. The post op support was great and very thorough. I have great vision and it is amazing to see the world without glasses. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr Goel and his team! 10/10.

Having had the initial consultation with Mr Quah where he explained in concise clear detail what procedures he would recommend for both my eyes I attended the hospital on a Sunday morning. The staff treated me extremely well and put my mind at ease. The procedure lasted 20 minutes in which every step was explained and performed by Mr Quah quite painlessly. One week later the other eye was treated in exactly the same way. The care in the hospital was excellant and the after care similar. Mr Quah is undoubtedly very passionate about his work and his work ethics are exemplary. I am extremely happy and pleased with the result and I would recommend him to anyone.

My initial consultation with Dr Goel was very thorough and put me at ease for the chosen cataract surgery on my right eye. Today I went for my check up on the eye before tomorrow's left eye operation. On examination he recommended leaving the left eye for a year or two. When someone is about to operate on your eye, you need to have confidence in the person. I had that in spades with Dr. Goel

This was my second cataract operation, the first several years ago at Manchester Eye Hospital with Professor Chris Lloyd. I was recommended to Mr. Quah by my optician Graham Doyle. It was difficult to assess the correct focal length of the lens as my cataract was far advanced due to COVID delays. Mr. Quah explained everything in a very professional manner, and I was very impressed by his expert demeanor before the operation and his humour and calmness during the operation itself. I am writing my review, sitting at my computer, looking at a perfectly clear monitor screen... not a big deal you are thinking? Wrong! It is a massive deal because I am not wearing glasses or contact lenses for the first time ever. Just 12 days ago John Bolger performed cataract removal on both my eyes. Prior to the cataracts forming I was a contact lens wearer but, when the cataracts first formed, I also had to wear special prescription glasses just to use the computer. When the cataracts got worse and my optician referred me to My-iClinic, John Bolger asked me how I wanted my vision to be. I said "I want to read, drive and use the computer without lenses or glasses" his response was "Challenging!" He rose to the challenge and I got what I wanted! Well done John Bolger and thank you my-iClinic!

Being extremely short sighted I have worn contact lenses since the age of 17. My eyes were always very dry. Having developed a cataract, Mr Goel gave me a choice of having the cataract removed and carry on wearing contact lenses or having prescriptive lens implants. I chose the latter and am so pleased that I did. My eyes are no longer dry and red, I don’t need reading glasses and the most amazing thing is I can see clearly on waking up in the morning. The advice, service and treatment I was given was exemplary and would recommend Mr Goel's service to anyone.

When I first met Mr Quah he said he was going to change my life! Well he has! I have been having problems with my eyes for the last 4 or 5 years but now, following treatment by Mr Quah, all I need is a pair of reading glasses. The change in my sight has been nothing less than miraculous. And Mr Quah is such an easy person to get on with and fills one with complete confidence.
