I had new lens and cataracts fitted and removed in both eyes.I was concerned at first about doing them at the same time.I didn’t need to be, l was kept up to date every step of the way everything was explained so did not worry about what happened next.All staff very nice and the consultant was like my best friend.Would recommend them to anyone.

I had lens replacement surgery with Mr Goel in December which far exceeded my expectations - it's life changing! From the very first consultation I had absolute confidence and faith that I was in the hands (literally) with the one of the best surgeons for this procedure. You cannot have any doubts when taking the decision to have eye surgery. I was put at ease throughout the process - from first booking, consultation, actual surgery and follow up appointments. I had two quotes to compare against, and there was no comparison. One was very professional and very 'corporate' but with Mr Goel and his Secretary it felt (and was) a true personal and professional service from the very beginning to the last appointment. When I got there, only the patient was allowed due to Covid restrictions and I was given a mask and asked to sanitise my hand from the sanitiser station, so felt quite safe. I was attended almost immediately and every process was very quick.

I recently had eye surgery with Mr Say Aun Quah , initially I felt apprehensive and nervous about having the procedure done but after meeting with Mr Quah and all the team I felt confident and reassured to go ahead. I had two cataract operations in November 2020. The Consultant took his time explaining all the options regarding which lenses would be best for me. When I was worried about the options the Consultant telephoned me and discussed everything to give me peace of mind. The operations went well and I am very happy with the result.

Mr Say Aun Quah was my consultant for laser eye surgery, from the start he was very informative and extremely easy to talk to. After him talking to me about every possible treatment and what he thought would be best for me I went ahead and booked in for LASIK laser eye surgery. On the day of the surgery Mr Quah was very calming and professional, so much so the quick and painless surgery was over before I knew it ! Quick precise and professional. My aftercare started as soon as I stood up and he made him self available to go over every aspect of after care and what to expect over the coming weeks as my eyes healed, he was spot on with everything. I honestly couldn’t recommend him more, the quality of life I have with good eyesight is second to none. Thank you Mr Quah.

What a lovely experience at ST HUGHS. Mr Goel and Staff was absolutely marvellous .Nurses very caring and lovely. Mr Goel felt more like a friend than a surgeon very understanding . This was my second cataract operation with Mr Goel at St Hugh's hospital and the experience was every bit as good as the first one. The staff at the hospital are second to none, from receptionists to nurses, surgeons, admin staff, etc. They are friendly, helpful and very efficient, either face to face or over the telephone, and do everything possible to make you feel comfortable and at ease. Mr Goel is a real gentleman. He greets you cheerfully with a friendly smile; he is courteous and considerate and explains everything to you, and is, of course, extremely competent! I would highly recommend the whole team at St Hugh's. I am extremely grateful to have improved sight! Thank you all.

I was under a consultant in London for cataract surgery since February 2020 with no treatment in sight. I was introduced to Mr Say Aun Quah on a Monday morning and had the treatment by 7 pm on the Wednesday of the same week. Unbelievably brilliant. All of Mr Quah’s team were excellent and I am pleased to give my recommendation to anybody requiring eye treatment. I have subsequently ended my association with my London clinic in favour of Mr Quah.

Back to being able to see again. That’s got to be worth 5* ;-)

The cataract removal in both eyes went very well, providing me with vision I don't ever remember having. Mr Quah provided with the right level of information and the staff at the Spire were considerate and calming. Having spoken with others treated elsewhere, I was very pleased with the very low level of discomfort I had for no more than a few days after each treatment which were only a week apart.

Mr Say Aun Quah is an expert in his field and I had every confidence in going ahead with my eye correction, multi focal lenses. I was short sighted with cataracts. I am thrilled with the outcome enjoying life to the full without spectacles.

Cataract surgery by Mr Goel and his professional team was painless and over in 20 minutes or so. The improvement to sight was almost immediate and to see the world in such clarity and colour again is simply amazing. Words can't explain the difference it's made to my sight. Superb! Thank you!

I had refractive lens replacement in 2011 performed by Mr Say Aun Quah and I would wholly recommend. My new lenses allow me read and work without requiring glasses. My husband is now considering a similar procedure. I can honestly say I have had no problems with my lens replacements and have watched over the years my friends, family and work colleagues become dependent upon glasses/contact lenses, my eye sight has remained perfect over the years. To anyone considering the procedure, I would say go for it and request Mr Say Aun Quah carries it out.

Went in for left and right eye cataract correction, both operations went extremely well and I now have 20-20 vision. Mr Goels attitude was calm and assuring.
