Mr Quah replaced lens in both of my eyes due to deteriorating eyesight, inability to wear contact lens and regular breaking of glasses! It was the best decision I have ever made. Mr Quah was recommended by both my optician and several friends who had also undergone the procedure. He was amazing from the first consultation through to aftercare. I was given honest reassurance and comprehensive guidance throughout. The procedure, although not pleasant, is very quick, as is the recovery. Over a year after the surgery I had a slight fogging in one eye which was swiftly corrected using laser, as part of the aftercare package. My eyesight is perfect and I would have no hesitation in recommending Mr Quah

I had Multifocal lens replacement under the care of Mr Say Aun Quah. I was quite nervous initially, but what a difference the surgery made. I can honestly say that the whole process was painless and stress free. I was quite short sighted and had varifocal spectacles prior to the surgery. I don't need specs anymore! I had some scar tissue which developed around the lens, after about 18 months, but I returned to see Mr Quah and he lasered this (Yag), which successfully sorted the problem. I am so pleased that I had this surgery and would recommend Mr Quah to anyone who is considering lens replacement for what ever reason.

I have never looked back since my eye surgery, no pun intended! Mr Say Aun Quah was so professional. My assesment and pre op. consultations were very relaxed. His explanations were easy to understand and my questions answered to my satisfaction. I can't actually believe how easy and painless the whole process was. I have a 'lazy eye' and the vision is very poor and can't be corrected. Because of this I was very apprehensive about surgery on my 'good eye'. My rationale for going ahead with the surgery was that I am likely to need it one day because of cataracts so may as well whilst I have the opportunity of the best surgeon. My sister wanted to see how I got on before having hers. She too has the lazy eye. It's now about 6 years since the surgery and I have never regretted it. My sister did get hers done too.

I had Refractive Lens Exchange performed by Mr Say Aun Quah in May 2018. Mr Quah, was both professional and informative throughout the whole process. I had both eye operations across 4 days and experienced no problems. The quality of life of being able to play sport, read, work and not have to think about contact lenses or glasses has been truly amazing. No more headaches or sore eyes from wearing glasses or contact lenses, I now have 20 20 vision, can go in the pool on holidays, wear sunglasses like anyone else. All of the things you take for granted in younger life returned. Every penny spent has been worth it, Say Aun is a master of his craft I would recommend him to anyone, don't risk your eyes by using anyone else.

Both myself and my husband had the procedure. The whole experience was very professional. Felt l was in very safe hands. Mr Quah was superb. Brilliant care and the results of my surgery fantastic. Loving my new vision particularly after wearing glasses from the age of 5 years old I now have excellent vision for both distance and reading no glasses needed!

The Eye correction center team is amazing, I can not speak highly enough of Mr. Goel and Sue Collins they have been so incredibly kind, caring, and supportive. I was diagnosed with RP at 21, now 31 I am still getting outstanding service and medical help even though I am now based in London. you could not be in better hands.

In 2013 I regrettably had a cataract in my right eye, having done some investigations I decided to see Sid Goel at St Hughs Hospital. I could not thank him enough for his clear explanations and care, especially with the result of brilliant sight instead of being in a fog! I had to take the lens from the right side of my glasses as I could see clearly to both read and distance having had a bi-focal type lens replacement. I knew it would only be a matter of time that the same would happen with my left eye - what a time for it to become so bad - during Coronavirus. There was no hesitation to see Mr Goel again, I was, perhaps understandably, concerned due to the virus but reassured by Mr Goel and was fortunate enough to be able to have the operation prior to lock down. Today I have very clear vision and no issues reading the bottom line on the sight test. I really cannot praise the skill, patience with my nerves and professionalism that i received from this outstanding Consultant.

I have just had lens replacement surgery on both eyes. I am the third member of my family to have this procedure done by Mr Goel. He is an expert in his field and I truly felt in safe hands from the start. He was professional throughout, reassuring and thorough. He explained everything so well beforehand and it was exactly as he said it would be. I am absolutely delighted with the results and thank Mr Goel for being so good at what he does!

I had lens replacement with Mr Goel at St Hughes quite some time ago and couldn’t be happier. Gone are the contact lens, 1 for distance and 1 for reading but ended up being a total compromise on good vision. Just been sewing and can now thread a small eyed needle no trouble. Thanks Sid it’s great to have 20/20 vision once again, money well spent.

I have recently underwent cataract surgery on both eyes. Surgery was carried out by Dr Quah and his team at Spire Regency in Macclesfield and I am delighted with the success of these procedures. I now have 20/20 vision in both eyes, something that I never thought was possible. I can not recommend Dr Quah and his team highly enough, so professional and always available to answer any questions. Thank you Dr Quah and your team for everything.

Had cataract surgery in August/Feb, just had my eye test and i now have 20/20 vision, thank you so much to Mr Goel from St Hughes Hospital. Had my cataract done in my right eye before Xmas at st hughs have had second eye done mid January Mr goel/sid/ was excellent as was his staff been for final eye test only need to use reading glasses now great job Thanks to all involved John shields

I would definitely recommend UK East Eye Correction Centre. My 88 year old aunt had her cataracts done by Mr Goel, at St Hugh's, Grimsby. From the initial phone call through to the final consultation everyone was so pleasant. At the first consultation Mr Goel was quickly able to assess that my aunt would need a general anaesthetic to have her cataracts done. He advised having both done at the same time which was brilliant. On the day of surgery all went smoothly. Again the service received was excellent. What stood out for me, on the day of surgery, and at the final consultation, was the pleasure Mr Goel showed that he had achieved good results for my aunt. Her cataracts were very tricky because she had left them so long. I must also add that Mr Goel's administrator was always very helpful and efficient.

I am very pleased to report a most successful outcome to the cataract surgery on each of my eyes. This was carried out by Mr. Quah and his team at the Spire Regency in Macclesfield. I had lense replacement last September ! I was very impressed with every part of my treatment from booking an initial appointment to the procedure and the aftercare! Had both cataracts removed in December 2019 and the only way to describe the out come is “A whole new world”. I now see the world and colours without the brown curtain that was covering my eye, and it was only when I had had them operated on that I realised how bad my eyesight had become. This morning 19the Feb 2020 I have had little plugs put in to my tear ducts to help with my very dry eyes, so far so good.
