I had cataract surgery on each eye, one week apart and was surprised how clearly I could see without my glasses. Mr Goel is friendly and approachable and would not hesitate to recommend him.

I cannot believe the enormous difference the removal of the cataracts from my eyes has made. My eyesight is superb. After many months of being deprived of indulging in some of my hobbies, ie- tapestry, needlework, reading and playing the piano (I can only play from reading music !) the procedures have proved to be miraculous. It has been a wonderful experience in a very pleasant environment, extremely caring and pleasant staff and a superbly skilled surgeon. I would confidently recommend this procedure should the need arise. Thank you most sincerely.

Mr Goel performed two cataract operations, with a week's interval between both operations. He fitted multifocal intra ocular lens implants three weeks ago and todate, my visition is 100% improved. It is unbelieveable and the operation was completely pain free, expedited in a very relaxed atmosphere, consequently, there is nothing whatso every to worry about. I would recommend this procedure to anyone with this problem.

Having been extremely short sighted wearing spectacles since the age of 7 and cataract operation in the right eye 25 years ago I visited Mr Goel at St Hughs in 2018. I had a secondary lens fitted to the right eye followed by new lens in the left eye. This has resulted in 20/20 vision in both eyes a the age of 72. Unfortunately I had a fall in 2019 rotating the secondary lens in the right eye, Mr Goel arranged a prompt appointment followed by an operation to correct the problem. I have nothing but praise for Mr Goel and the staff of St Hughs for what they have achieved with what I thought was a lost cause. Thoroughly recommended.

I had a follow up meeting with Mr Quah This week (November 19) over 4 years after My life changing operation with him. I had lens replacement done by Mr Quah in 2015 and was amazed by the effect on my life after 50 Years of poor eye sight without the need of glasses or contact lens. The last 6 months had seen a deterioration of the original membrane and Mr Quah restored my vision to perfection in a matter of minutes . I have just undergone bilateral cataract extraction with multifocal lens implants and the procedures couldn't have gone better and that is due to Mr Goel's superb skills. From beginning to end Mr. Goel's relaxed and friendly approach gave me complete confidence and of course at the hands of a top surgeon, the results are excellent. I now have 20-20 vision in both eyes and long lost detail has been restored.

Only gave 4 stars as was slightly disappointed with length of time between and admission and surgery as apparently the Anaesthetist didn't arrive until the last minute also had to wait quite a while at the follow up appt. There were 3 people in front of me already waiting and one lady had been given the same appt. time as myself. maybe there needs to be a longer time span between appointments. Rest of care was first class, thank you.

I have had multifical lens implants at Optegra Manchester . The procedure was performed by Mr Quah . I now have 20/20 vision . I have my eyes back and it is life changing ! I would totally recommend this centre and Mr Quah . Everyone was very professional , pleasant and reassuring . Mr Quah took time to explain everything to me fully ,so that I understood everything . He is very approachable and professional and has given me back my eyes ! My care has been excellent and I would totally recommend . Thank you .

My experience with Mr Quah was superb. Having had lens replacements, the whole from beginning to end was an excellent experience. Appointments on time. Always dealt with by Mr Quah. Very reassuring person to deal with. The eye hospital in Withington is easy to get to and the staff are extremely efficient. I had glaucoma, the start of cataracts and wore varifocal glasses. Not any more! 20/20.vision.

After the operation on my right eye to remove a cataract and replace the lens I said that I would have the left eye done without hesitation. Well the second operation was carried out, again to remove a cataract and replace the lens. I now have better than normal vision on both eyes. Again surgery was painless and recovery swift. I could not be happier with the outstanding service provided and can recommend without reservation.

I was more than happy with the treatment I received under the care of Mr Goel, he explained everything about the problems that I have with my eyes and now I understand about my stigma. The operations went very well and my recovery was very good, he made me feel so at ease and after the first one I had no qualms with proceeding with the second one. I had a multi focal lens implant with Dr Quah in April 2019. The results have been simply life changing. I now have better than 20/20 vision in both eyes.
