Mr Quah performed my implantable contact lenses in November 2019. I have extreme myopia and was struggling with contact lenses and heavy poorly fitting glasses after 3 previous corneal ulcers. I can highly recommend Mr. Quah and the team at Optegra in Manchester. I had IOL lens replacement there in 2015 and was absolutely thrilled with the results. I now no longer have to wear glasses and my vision is so clear. Recently I had a little blurring in one eye, which can happen sometimes - I think it is referred to as capsular opification. I rang Optegra, was immediately given an appointment with Mr. Quah and had laser treatment on the eye. The procedure was done in seconds, the blurring has gone and my eyesight is clear. I had cataracts in both eyes but was very nervous at having lens replacement so I had left it as long as I could. I went to see Mr. Quah who explained everything in detail and made me feel a lot less apprehensive. Mr Quah is an excellent surgeon and communicator. He clearly explained pre surgery the options, with the recommendation of a dual lens in each eye which was an ideal solution for my needs and the debrief post surgery was clear, concise and very informative. I was quite apprehensive about eye surgery before I entered the care of Mr Quah. However at every step of the way my experience has been excellent and I could not be more delighted with the results. In September 2019 Mr Quah removed a cataract in one eye and inserted new Toric lenses in both eyes. I was a little apprehensive, but I didn’t need to worry as Mr Quah and his team put me at ease instantly.
