bought a guitar from this lot and after a good look around the guitar found out guitar had water damage gave me some bull about humidifying guitar as none of my other guitars have needed it in 40 years why this one. hopeless customer service who had no intention of helping, buyer beware of this shop stay away. not surprised with this reply but sending a guitar out with this action and damage is irresponsible and you had no intentions of doing anything about it apart from silica gel packs, not acceptable from a retailer. and telling some one who has been playing guitar for over 40 years this is just a ploy to disregard your faults.

Ordered an Epiphone Slash Les Paul the guitar was despatched when expected and due for delivery on the next day it arrived (here’s where issues began) Got the box (barely held shut by 2 sections of tape at the bottom) opened up and sure enough it was my guitar in the case it comes with and absolutely no packaging in the box around the case (not great but ok) opened the case and straight away I can spot the volume dial sitting way too close to the body, checked it through an amp and sure enough it’s broken. Immediately contact the shop who are helpful and agree upon a partial refund to fund the repair. Checking the rest of the guitar it has fret buzz all over, the fretboard is dry as a desert. My thoughts here: there should have been better packing in the box if indeed the volume dial broke in transit and while I don’t expect a shop to necessarily set up a guitar before despatch at least making sure it’s playable would be good. I do appreciate how quick they were to help but it might have been avoided easily with actually protecting the guitar better in the first place.

I am extremely impressed with my purchase from Sound Affects. I phoned them about the guitar and they were very helpful. I ordered the guitar online and it arrived the next day and it is a lovely second hand guitar in excellent condition. A very happy customer.
