Fabulous But no air conditioning The curtain broke as well as the camping chair

Staff is not really solution oriented

Good price. Easy efficient and friendly collect and drop Off. Van old but reliable. Beds incredibly uncomfortable! Time to get this changed!

Relatively cheap van hire in high season. Easy to book through their own website. However, the van we had was pretty end of life. The outside was fine, but inside there were quite some things done (hole in a seat, seatbelts that cut in your neck, the finishing around the chairs in the back, curtains that didn’t close because the buttons were missing, nets that weren’t present anymore). However, if you use it as we did only drive and sleep it does its job. One difficulty was cooking, the two-pit burner had very small flames so cooking took forever to get something done. They were really friendly and after 2 calls they had a reservation on the ferry for us (they told to let them know a week in advance but then one ferry didn’t had space, so they arranged a spot on the other one!)

There was many patches of mold all around the ceiling lining and curtains. We first were provided by a very dirty car but that was swamped with a bit cleaner one. We didn't pay much for the rental and we weren't expecting a new car but we were expecting to get a clean car as sleeping a car that has mold everywhere can cause health issue. The engin light also came on that we contacted their support line but they suggested there wouldn't be any serious issue with car and we can continue our trip.

The Fridge is not working for the whole two weeks holiday. Really disappointed as I unable to buy foods. Also the small lights is playing up at nights make me so annoying, trying to get sleep. Also the campervan is old - 20 years old.

Pick up and drop of went very good. Friendly en helpfull. The car was good to. Only the fridge didn’t work and the curtains were smelly. But we enjoyed it very much!!

The vehicle pick-up and drop-off worked great, the staff was very friendly and the service with the airport transfer top. However, the directions to the pick-up point at the airport should be better described. The vehicle was technically in order and worked perfectly during the entire rental period. However, the vehicle was visually very damaged and in a desolate condition. The mattress and bedding were quite dirty and at least questionable from a hygiene point of view. The kitchen equipment was also rather poor, plates and bowls were missing and the frying pan was in such a bad condition that I didn't want to use it.

Poor quality unhygienic vehicle. Made a large negative impact on our holiday. Leaky waste pipe and facet. Faulty hob, electric sockets and water pump. Bed / bench just about functional but meant we left the bed out through fear of breaking

Nice and eazy rental. Everything went smooth and staf was freindly. The can we got was hold (450000km) but in perfect driving condition, we did 4200km during our 3 week vacation without any signs of problem. The price we had was very good.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. But the camper van was terrible dirty, I have never seen a van that dirty before.

Had a great experience with an older Camper not too big but trustworthy all the 2.500 km driving through the Southern Island. The People from Lucky Rentals were polite and helpful.

One of the cheaper option with an older model but comfy. Really enjoyed to have an electric fridge/freezer and being small. Friendly team!

Van was a little run down but all functional. It did smell a bit like cigarettes though

The campervan suited us perfectly. Picking up and dropping off was dealt with efficiently and politely. When we were unlucky to suffer a failed Alternator in Wanaka the rescue service attended within the hour and the faulty part was replaced within 2 days so disruption to our holiday was kept to a minimum. We appreciated how well the staff communicated during this difficulty.

Lucky rentals employees were very helpful and responsive. When the camper needed a small repair, the team responded quickly and arranged for repair. We were overall happy!
