Germany | 29 October 2024Our camper hat a lot of deficits including that the windows were not waterproof and it rained inside onto the bed. With a toddler sleeping there and in spring that is an absolute deficit. Told the people when giving back the car. No partial refund offers

The van, although not new, was well maintained and very clean. We had one minor issue while we were away, which when we explained it to the staff on drop off, they were happy to fix it. Couldn't fault them. They even looked after our car while we were away!! :-) Above our expectations!

United States | 24 October 2024Customer service was bery friendly and welcoming. The van was comfortable with new seat covers and blinds. The check out seemed a little rushed, and there were a couple of things missed, the propane bottle wasn’t full and it was out of date, i had to buy a replacement and get it filled and we were reimbursed the cost. The water tank wasn’t filled and a hose connection was missing. We were given new pillows and a clean pack of linens. The frying pan had definitely seen better days. We were also provided with a new kettle and a space heater. The fuel economy was better than expected and the van was capable of highway speeds. It required caution but handled fairly well in gusty wind conditions, driving position was comfortable. There was some noticeable brake squeaks. Overall good value and a very enjoyable trip.

Australia | 24 October 2024Disappointing Experience: Poor Customer Service and Unsafe Vehicle I urge you to read this before booking with this company. My experience has been incredibly disappointing. I rented a vehicle for 17 days, and right from the start, I noticed it pulling to the left. By day two, a local pointed out that the tires had no tread left. The gas stove was unreliable, requiring multiple attempts to ignite each time. Additionally, the fridge would randomly turn off, forcing me to discard groceries twice during my trip. I reached out multiple times to address these issues, expressing my disappointment and mentioning the grocery loss. Instead of acknowledging my concerns, the staff simply told me to visit a mechanic two hours away—without considering my travel route. At the mechanic’s, I learned that the fridge had a loose connection, which was fixed, and the front tires were moved to the back due to their unsafe condition—less than 3mm of tread. The mechanic mentioned that the company needed to replace the tires upon my return. When I returned the vehicle and showed the staff member the tire photos, she dismissed my concerns, stating the tires were "still legal." This lack of accountability is unacceptable, especially after driving in challenging conditions. While she eventually apologized for her customer service, it felt insincere. The $72 refund (2 days of hire) I received was insufficient, barely covering my fuel expenses to travel to the mechanics from my pre-booked accommodation. If you're traveling, especially solo, the last thing you need is to deal with unsafe vehicle issues. I recommend looking elsewhere—choose a company that prioritizes vehicle maintenance, safety, and genuinely cares about its customers

A part of our agreement was overlooked and we did not receive the services (extra bedding) we had paid for but were told that "we had extra in the van" and when we arrived at our destination, we found we clearly did not. In hindsight, we should have checked everything and not rely on the person serving us. However, the Manager did agree to us purchasing an extra duvet and we were recompensed for this.

Also, the fridge don't work and the door doesn't close well, the inside lights don't turn on. All very bad in the van. The people who attend us were very friendly and lovely.

The campervan was in a very good state and well prepared. We had an issue with the campervan, this is not the best, but can happen. Lucky rentals provided a substitute van the same day.

New Zealand | 08 October 2024The gas bottle was empty, so we couldn’t have a hot shower or use the stove top. We couldn’t find a place to refill the bottle when we noticed it was empty. There was No egg flipper or tongs. But we did have a fork And no discount for cheaper petrol because the barcode was broken on the key ring so it would not scan.. Besides this the camper was prefect for our holiday of 13 days on the road.

Sure, you get what you pay for but practices of this company go beyond nuisances and are safety and health concerning. I can absolutely not recommend doing business with them. Pay a little bit more and save yourself hassles and your vacation. 1) Starting with the airport pickup, I contacted them in advance and was told that I MUST call them from the airport. How the heck if you’re coming from overseas and not have a local SIM yet? It adds so much hassle. Eventually I spent tens of dollars in roaming and was for minutes in the line. Eventually I was told to go where the hotel shuttles are. Went there waited, waited, waited. Turns out they waited somewhere completely different 2) Yes the vans are old which is ok. But what is NOT ok is how gross they are. No cleaning. Found other people’s clothes and headlamps between the cushions. It stinks and the walls are greasy 3) Many things are broken and that’s fine where but a safety concern. However, the gray water hose was broken (deliberately “fixed” with duct tape where it was leaking) and leaking at the connector as well. Whenever we had to dump half of the gray water was leaking in the floor! 4) We had a baby and booked a child seat with it. Only afterwards I learned that this seat including the way it was installed is plain illegal in NZ and jeopardized the safety of my baby

Just no to much ustensiles (no sponge, dishes towel, dishwashing and just enough for the dishes) not very good explications (full the water or found the belt for the middle sit )and the van was not very clean.. ( we found a used handkerchief under the cover ) Without that, my family enjoyed very well this experience 😁

New Zealand | 20 August 2024READ BEFORE YOU HIRE Hired van for 2 weeks. First van smelled of sick dirty grubby interior and had grinding noise coming from Handbrake drum. We were given another vehicle by The Boss who said it was ready to go. After 1:5 hours of driving we noticed rear tyre seriously under inflated. Had to spend 1:5 in garage sorting it out. We were also bitten by FLEAS from the bedding. The Boss says that they safety check every vehicle... Oh No they Don't. They sent us out with a dangerous tyre 20psi below required pressure. He also thinks their standards of hygiene are good enough and that's the problem.They took $90 bucks off our Bill but this van was a horrible experience and ruined the 1st 2 weeks of the trip.
