I've never known dogs SO excited about dinner time, until I started feeding Honey's several years ago. My dogs get so excited that one plonks himself on my feet, so he will know the second that I move towards the kitchen, while the other tears round the house at high speed, with a blanket on his head, growling to himself about what awaits. It's their daily ritual. They also have a bell that they press to go in the garden, but one dog has repurposed it as the dinner bell, and will ring it repeatedly if he thinks I might have forgotten to feed them. He gets almost as excited about food delivery day, and on several occasions, I've caught him "helping" to unpack the rolls - a kind of middle-man between box and freezer... Honey's customer service has been second to none, including thorough nutritional advice when you need it, which is invaluable when managing health issues or necessary dietary changes, and it's a very personal service. One of my dogs has a slight food sensitivity, so needed single proteins, and this was the only company we could find that offered an extensive range of single protein options, whilst still providing the ground bone and vegetables in the right ratios. Yes, it's more expensive than other raw food companies, but if I let my dogs choose, they would choose Honey's. (I don't mind paying a bit more for excellent quality - if I had to criticise anything, it would probably just be that the carriage costs are quite high compared with some companies, with no "free delivery" threshold.) The only thing I would change if I could is the packaging, but it's not worth deducting a star for - I just live in hope of it changing! I find that no matter how I cut open the rolls, they spatter raw meat juices onto the worktop, which is a bit of a pain, especially if you're staying away somewhere. I understand the company is trying to minimise plastic and storage space, etc., it's just not fun to handle. Hey ho. The dogs' health is what's most important, so even if I had to roll around in mud every day, dressed as a clown, in order for them to get top quality food... of course, I would do it! Back to the quality... My oldest dog is coming up 14, and I have lost track of the number of times he's been mistaken for a much younger dog, even a puppy, over the years. He still does 12-mile hikes, and runs around like a youngster. Even the vet couldn't believe his age. I also referred a friend to Honey's, and he confessed that his dog MUCH prefers it to the previous brand he was buying (which was also a high quality raw food). The dogs all LOVE Honey's Real Dog Food. Who am I to argue.

I have been a happy customer of Honey’s Real Dog Food for more years than I can remember, and I can't recommend them highly enough. This company truly stands out for their ethical standards, offering meats that are free-range, wild, and organic. The quality of the food is excellent and consistently meets my expectations, giving me peace of mind that my dogs are receiving the best nutrition possible. What puts Honey’s above the rest is their exceptional customer service. I’ve reached out a few times for advice, and in each instance, received guidance and support that helped me nourish my dogs through periods of illness and injury. On one occasion, a member of Honey's healthcare team even took the time to contact me directly to ensure my dog was doing well, as something I mentioned had raised a red flag. Additionally, when I had an issue with a batch of chicken that was a bit different than usual and my dog wouldn’t eat it, Honey's promptly offered a refund—this was an exceptional situation and the company's response speaks volumes about their commitment to customer satisfaction. I am so confident in this company that I am considering using Honey’s Real Dog Food’s bespoke service to provide a nutritionally balanced cooked diet for my pets. It’s reassuring to know that I can customise their meals to meet their specific needs, ensuring they continue to thrive. My dogs both lick their bowls clean every day, which is a testament to how much they love the food! It’s clear that Honey’s Real Dog Food genuinely cares about the health and well-being of my furry friends. I wholeheartedly trust them to provide my dogs with the nourishment they need, and I’m grateful for their dedicated support. Thank you, Honey’s! You are making a positive impact on many pets lives! I’ve tried Honey’s so many times as the feeding raw makes sense to me plus they really have great eco - packaging. However every time it just doesn’t work out. They state there’s a 100% money back guarantee on their website: A 100% money-back guarantee plus we are never knowingly undersold We want you to be happy with both the quality and value for money that we offer, which is why we offer not one, but two guarantees. However - when I attempted to call in this guarantee based on the staff member of the nutrition advice team allowing me to place an order of £99 for the raw food containing veg despite numerous phone calls to the team ( which allegedly is made up of vets, vet nurses & nutritionists) detailing my dogs skin flare ups & acidic stomach, explaining she’s young rescue from Spain found on the streets … so of course after consuming the raw which contained carrots my dogs skin flared up like crazy, skin full of yellow, pus filled itchy spots plus what seemed to be a bloated stomach & she smelt so bad I then had to have a very very expensive visit to the vets to get a diagnosis of a yeast infection ( a highly common issue in young dogs or dogs that have been in kennels) which will get flared up by sugar like in veggies like carrots. Advised by both our regular vet & a holistic vet to not feed veggies in future. I’d already stopped after using 4 chubs & so I now had £80 worth of food in a full freezer that I needed to move to make room for veg free food. I called Honeys to try to discuss the issue & I was basically told tough luck. Their advice was to offer it to rescue centres which I tried as that would have sat ok with me (none either wanted it or had the facilities to take it due to being frozen raw food). So I called back and was advised to offer it up on social media / gumtree/ facebook / selling sites!! I found it horrifying really as I’m a female & have a young child. I actually did it as I was Shriner just throwing it all in the bin & was contacted by people that just seemed dodgy & I got scared. Luckily on my local Facebook greyhound group eventually a lady with mutual friends said she’d take the food (for free of course) and she came when my partner st the time was also home. Imagine though - suggesting a female offer free dog food up on social media & risk having strangers turn up at your home or worse I guess meet them somewhere - rather than give a refund? Due to life being super busy I carried on ordering the veg free at a good cost (£170 a month) while investigating other options & intending to send an email to complain about the veggie order & the attitude of the lady who told me to invite strangers off social media to take the dog food. It did take me a good few months and when I did find the time to send the email I initially was offered £20 goodwill gesture which they finally upped to a half refund of the £99 order. Anyway - I will never order again. I had been continuing to order at a cost of £170 a month for my dogs wellbeing but no more. It’s so very short sighted to refuse to work with people regarding complaints …. my dog could live for let’s say 3 more years (probably more) ….. so Honeys have now lost over £6k for the sake of refunding an extra £50 & being unable to apologise!!!!

I fed Bella on Honeys for probably 10 years. Sadly she passed away in October and the follow up Honeys provided was amazing - sending condolences with flowers, planting a tree in Bella's name on Dartmoor and a beautiful sympathy card. Unbelievable. I will always feed my dog raw food and now that Darcy (my rehomed Cavapoo) is happy with raw food we are embarking on a new journey with Honeys. Their customer service is second to none. Thank you.

I have been a customer of Honey's for over 7 years now. I have rescue dogs. Two of the dogs have developed complicated digestive issues and now require a specialised diet, but three continue to thrive on Honeys raw. In all this time this company has provided top quality food for my dogs. Ok, sometimes there have been logistical problems with delivery or supply but these occasions are vanishingly rare and usually down to extraneous circumstances. If anyone has read the most peculiar one star review, I suggest you ignore it, especially as the person who left it seems to be in the habit of leaving a lot of negative reviews. I cannot comment on the justification of these posts. All I can say is that from my experience this company is worth its weight in gold.

A no brainer! Honey’s contribution to our Mini Schnauzers overall health is profound, he is not experiencing any of the well known issues such as pancreatitis, anal gland problems or skin issues. A recent visit to the vet has made them gasp in awe on how well Aldo’s teeth are and l proudly gave them the secret; a raw diet and ‘give a dog a bone’! We would be too anxious to raw feed Aldo with a self-created diet and frankly, the ‘sausages’ the food gets delivered in are just too handy. We even travel with them to our house in France properly stored in a freezer bag. Need l mention the bespoke and supportive customer service? The Honey’s experience is a treat to both canine & humans!!!

My miniature schnauzer, Sid, was diagnosed with Colitis so we needed to be careful about foods that may inflame his stomach. Before Honey's, I had used cooked dog food which I don't think helped with the issue. Once I made the decision to go raw, I got some great advice at Honey's and, together we worked out the best way forward. Sid loves all his food, which we have now been using for over a year and his Colitis has calmed down. I always find Honey's professional and efficient to deal with.

We have used Honey’s for the past 3 years and our Norfolk terrier loves the variety of the food available. His monthly delivery has just landed! The nutrition team were very helpful when he needed to loose a few pounds and we worked together to get the right diet for him. The admin team provide a range of options for ordering food & delivery is on time and food in good condition. They are always on hand to answer any questions & offer advice. We would highly recommend Honey’s for their food and also for their recycling scheme for food wrappers.

Honey’s is an excellent company and gave me valuable advice on feeding my dogs when I changed their diet from grazing on dried food. I am convinced that Honeys Real Dog Food has helped ensure that my 13 year old Cockerpoo is in absolutely great physical condition, her coat is soft and she has boundless energy. The food is all my Poodle puppy has eaten and they both scoff it down with huge enthusiasm. It’s not cheap but neither are vet bills…

Rambo has been with Honey's since he was a puppy, and 5 years later he is still very happily with Honeys and we've not been with anyone since! Honey's is a fantastic company and community of people who genuinely go out your way to care about your furbabies. I have already referred two people to Honey's and will continue to do so when I see the opportunity! They're pro-active at what they do and treating all their customers. It's the most engaging brand I know (not just compared with other dog food companies, but compared with almost every other company in other industries too!) I really appreciate the effort they make to their newsletters which are a real joy to read, as well as their promptness to replying to all my emails and phone calls. Most importantly, the quality of their raw dog food is of amazing quality that all dogs deserve and should be eating. I appreciate the ethos it abides by, led by Jonathan who was a farmer first before starting Honey's. Rambo continues to enjoy eating raw food from Honeys. Honestly, once you go Honey's, there's no going back. Even rambo agrees, and he has been the healthiest Rottweiler anybody has ever seen! He smells amazing, his poops come out really healthy and solid, there is none of that awful smell that results from dogs eating kibble or any other processed type of dog food. His teeth are incredible from all the bones he eats from Honey's. It's worth every penny and all my future dogs will be eating Honey's.

I've been using Honeys for a while now with my two lab mixes. Very happy with the products and helpful service. It's not the cheapest for two large dogs and I've tried other raw food but the quality doesn't seem the same and have always come back to Honeys.

Delighted with the exceptional advice I received from Katherine. She listened to all my concerns and put my mind at rest regarding my dog's diet. I ordered a trial and remain impressed. The quality is far superior to other suppliers I have used. The texture, smell & colour, radiates goodness. My dog only needed to poop twice in the day compared to up to six times! Looking forward to getting through a freezer-full of my recent choice, so I can stock up with Honey's.

We're brand new to Honey's and I have been so pleased by our experience so far. The team have talked me through the best way to feed our puppy, who had an unfortunate start with GI issues, and have supported us via multiple emails and phone calls. As a result, we ordered a 4 month supply for both of our dogs as a way to show our appreciation but we can honestly say that our dogs love the food. We ordered on Wednesday afternoon and the food was with us on Friday morning! Packaging is nice and was separated between the puppies portions and the dogs. We received a nice complementary treat box and lots of information re: raw feeding and the history and future direction of the company. We did have an environmental charge for an extra box which was going to be needed for packaging, but when I made Honey's aware, they confirmed they would refund. This is great as we will put this towards our second order in a few months time. Really pleased, thank you Honey's for your assistance and wish you all the success.

I have been feeding my dog Honey's for about 3 months now and my only regret is that I didn't do it sooner! I have had my rescue dog for 2 years and, while I have always tried to give her good quality food, I'm now convinced that Honey's is the best. I don't intend to ever switch food companies again. Honey's is passionate about farm animal welfare and use only free-range, organic or wild meat. The food is top quality and is nutritionally complete without needing added supplements. The customer service at Honey's is just brilliant. The team are always happy to give help and advice by phone or email. My dog loves her Honey's and I am so happy to be giving her the best I can to support her health and wellbeing, along with knowing I am not supporting cruel intensive factory farming. Thank you Honey's :)

We rescued our current dog, Bobby, two years ago after losing our lovely Border Terrier (Tess) to illness and old age (she was also fed on Honey’s in her twilight years). Bobby was almost two years old when we got him, and had been fed Bakers kibble and Pedigree sachets. We found his bowel movements excessively large for a small dog (X Pug/Shih-Tzu) often loose, and he had smelly, gunky ears. We didn’t know how he would take to raw feeding, but he immediately wolfed down portions of offered raw meat as if he’d been raised on it, so we transitioned him straight onto Honeys dog food, and he has never looked back. His ears cleared up with the help of Honeys and some additional probiotics in a very short time, and his bowel motions are minimal. He is 10 kilos, and the lovely staff at Honeys advised us on portion size to keep him at this, his ideal weight for his size. Ethical farming is very important to us - where the meat is sourced, how it is raised and slaughtered etc. and we believe Honeys adhere to high standards for both the animals in the food chain and for those who will be consuming their meat. We are very happy with Honeys, they are so reliable with ordering and delivery, the staff are always pleasant to deal with, and our little rescue boy is bright-eyed, waggy-tailed, and full of the joys of Spring. Brilliant company, deserving of customer loyalty.

I've been a Honey's Real Dog Food customer for almost 9 months. I've had my dog for almost 2 years and before Honey's I was buying raw but it wasn't near the quality of Honey's. My dog still used to have a dullish coat and he used to get a lot of eye gunk but since switching to Honey's he's leaner, shiny coat it's shimmers so beautifully and his eye gunk has reduced so much. On top of his benefits, the customer service is amazing. I used to order online but I've switched to calling because it's just a more pleasant experience. Any concerns I've had with him I've raised around food and they've always advised me with his best interest at heart. I'd recommend this company to anyone who has a dog. Also! Their prices are fairly competitive when you compare to non-organic, non pasture fed meat.

THE BEST THING I EVER DID FOR MY DOG. CHERRY CAME TO ME AS A FIVE-MONTH-OLD PUPPY, SHE IS A TOY, MINIATURE POMERANIAN, WEIGHING 4lbs AND STANDS 9inches TALL AT THE SHOULDER. SHE AND HER MOTHER HAD ONLY BEEN FED ON KIBBLE, 'HORRIBLE STUFF' I CHANGED HER DIET THE FIRST DAY I GOT HER. IT'S SO UNNATURAL. IT WASN'T EASY AT FIRST, AS I LEARNT LATER FROM THE NUTRITIONALIST, 'FREE ADVICE BY THE WAY' AT HONEY'S RAW DOG FOOD THAT POMERANIANS ARE VERY FINICKY EATERS. SHE CHOSE RAW MEAT HERSELF, I COOKED HER SOME DICED BEEF, AND WHILE WAITING THREW HER A RAW PIECE, WHICH SHE DEVOURED STRAIGHT AWAY. WHEN THE BEEF WAS COOKED AND COOLED I OFFERED IT TO HER AND SHE REFUSED IT, I OFFERED HER SOME MORE RAW AND SHE ALSO RELISHED THAT. THE ADVICE I HAVE RECEIVED FROM HONEY'S HAS BEEN INVALUABLE TO THE HEALTH OF MY DOG AND MY PEACE OF MIND. I WENT FROM AN 8-STONE GERMAN SHEPHERD TO A 4lbs TOY. SHE IS A PICTURE OF HEALTH WITH BOUNDLESS ENERGY, A BEAUTIFUL COAT, ALWAYS HAS A COLD WET NOSE AND SPARKLING EYES. CONFIDENT AND OUTGOING WITH PEOPLE AND OTHER ANIMALS

We have been customers of Honey's for over 10 years, with them providing quality raw dog food delivered to our door for Max, our American Bulldog. We were recommended a raw food diet by a trainer and after speaking to our vet and exploring and digesting the range of information out there - including on Honey's website which has a huge amount of advice and resources available, we decided to try it. We ordered monthly and received our frozen delivery straight to our door, on time every time. We received gentle reminders via email when our stock was low in order to renew in plenty of time and when we put Max on a diet we worked with their Healthcare Team to ensure his diet remained balanced and best for him. We recently lost Max due to old age, at 14.5 years of age, and both we and his vet feel his raw food diet contributed to his long lasting health. If we decide to open up our hearts again to another dog in the future, Honey's will be our food of choice without a doubt. Thank you to all the team at Honey's for being part of Max's life and making our lives as owners much simpler.
