A DJ Alexander tenant has flooded my flat twice causing significant damages. Since then I've been lied to and fobbed off repeatedly when chasing them up re: repairs. It is impossible to get an update. Call handlers promised a senior manager would get in touch but never did. I am out of pocket because of their dishonesty.

Working over the Festive period, Carol pulled out the stops to help arrange my new flat rental efficiently and greatly smoothed out the admin process. Ryan was also key to making it happen, liaising with the Landlord and answering all questions re the flat and onsite parking provision, etc. Rented via DJ Alexander for 10 years, the most helpful Agents one could hope for. Timea (check out team) has been exceptional in dealing with our end of tenancy. Amazing attention to detail, proactive, solutions focussed and such a lovely person to boot. Nothing was ever too much trouble. She made what can be a challenging process so much smoother. Our apartment on our return from overseas was in pristine condition thanks to her excellent relationship with contractors and her project management skills. Everything was done on time and it made such a difference to come back to our home in such good repair after 10 years abroad. Great work Timea!

Been using DJ Alexander for a while now as a Landlord in Aberdeen. They have done great with property management and finding new tenants promptly. As with most things its the people that make the difference - My property manager is Hannah Byres who is amazing, easy to contact, always replies very quickly and one thing I really appreciate it when a query is ongoing Hannah always drops updates such as "checks are ongoing". I like this as it gives confidence things are being progressed. Great approach and very proactive. I have had a great experience with the Aberdeen DJ Alexander team.

Jenn attended my rental property for a routine inspection and was friendly and professional. I was in a remote meeting during her visit; she was polite and accommodating of this. I appreciated her asking if she should remove her shoes on arrival.

First time renting in Edinburgh and it was very smooth from the viewing to agreement. India Hale was our property manager and she was very kind and helpful.

I had the worst experience with DJ Alexander during my recent house viewings in Aberdeen. I traveled all the way from Glasgow, waking up at 5 AM, for two scheduled viewings, and the entire process was a disaster. For the first viewing at 11:15 AM, I arrived on time, but the agent didn’t show up. After calling the office, I was told she was running 15 minutes late. Since I had another viewing at 11:30, I asked if I could return after, and they agreed as long as I came before 12. However, when I returned at 11:50, no one was there. After several calls, I was told the agent had already left, leaving me stranded and wasting my time. The second viewing, scheduled at 1:35 PM, was no better. The agent showed up late, citing a lunch break. To make matters worse, the property was in terrible condition—old, faded interiors, damaged blinds, and shabby doors. DJ Alexander bombards clients with reminders to be punctual but fails to demonstrate the same professionalism. Their lack of communication, disregard for punctuality, and poor property standards make them extremely unreliable. I would not recommend anyone to waste their time or energy with DJ Alexander. This was an incredibly unprofessional and frustrating experience.

I needed to rent quickly for work away from home and was able to arrange a viewing of properties in Edinburgh within 1 day of seeing them on the website. It was really helpful to be able to meet the DJA rep Lauren at the first property having received the text confirmations of the appointment and then really reassuring that she was at the first flat ready for me to view 10 mins beforehand. She then went to the second apartment with me. I had some questions about one of the properties which she texted the answer to in less than an hour after the viewing. Having decided to go ahead with the second flat, I was transferred to Micael in the Tenancy Progression Team who sent everything I needed to log on to the Goodlord site and go through the checks to confirm my status and financial suitability. In less than 5 working days, from start to finish, everything was agreed and the lease signed- all online. Micael then went the extra mile and changed the time of my meeting at the flat to pick up the keys to suit around meetings I had on that day. As a prospective tenant this was a first class service from DJA.

My experience with Dj alexander was great and very well explained as I was not familiar with the UK housing. My agent Micael Pereira was very nice and always answered my emails quickly.

We had a bad leak at our flat in Aberdeen however Ellie Robertson has been absolutely brilliant at liaising with insurance inspectors and contractors to arrange the repair work. The service I have received from Ellie over the past year has been top class and a credit to AJ Alexander.

DJ Alexander have been so helpful during the sale process, advising me all the way. They have taken care of everything including viewings and have been great at giving advice and guidance. The staff are so supportive and knowledgeable and so easy to deal with. Every question was answered and they made the sale process so straightforward and trouble free. The staff have been fantastic.
