A great experience. I was kindly given a gift voucher for my 50th birthday and I've always wanted a handmade Japanese kitchen knife. Kashyap served me, and was very knowledgeable and helpful in making my decision. The Baker Street shop was quite overwhelming with the choice but after a short discussion Kashyap quickly gave me a selection of knives to see and handle. After paring it down to 3, Kashyap let me try each knife on a chopping board with a selection of vegetables. One knife stood out for the way it felt in hand and the pure beauty of it's sharpness. I thought it was amazing with the blacksmiths sharpening, but Kashyap took it away and sharpened it by hand, making it even better. I'm very happy with the service I got at Japanese Knife Company and now the proud owner of an amazing knife that with care will out last me! I'll definitely be back once I've saved up some more money, plus they offer one first-time free sharpening, so it'll be hard not to buy more when I return!

Went into the Baker Street branch very close to them closing for the day needing my knife sharpened urgently and had Prince save the day and sharpen it to a razor in ten minutes! Very knowledgeable and helpful staff I will be back there soon to buy more sharp things.
