Excellent service from Shrujal in helping me buy a Japanese knife. I was given the opportunity to try out the knife on some vegetables, and was even able to get a Chinese character engraved on it. The whole process was seamless and quick. Highly recommended.

Je ne comprends pas certains mauvais avis car Sam et Christophe sont super sympas, ils ont pris le temps de m'aider à choisir des couteaux à offrir choix de la lame, du manche et de l'utilisation ; les différentes explications ont été très instructives Super accueil et jolie boutique ! I was so happy when I get my knife because I was really in need of a new knife to cut my veggies and meat,with a perfect size,and after I see the reviews I don’t hesitate.Arrive in time and delivery was with care,well packed,and in the first use seems really good.But after around 5times of use ,when I was cut some chicken ,the knife tip broken inside the chicken.I really don’t use strength so I don’t know what happened.Cost me £65 and I always wash with warm water and clean with a dry cloth.So I’m a bit unsure if was my fault or not.But my initial happy view now became a doubt,I don’t know if the knife is so good as I thought.I had another Japanese one before who was sturdy and always was good and never damaged,was so good that I offer to my son when he went to the university,for he cook.But this one infortunately is not so fantastic.

Great 1st time to JKC on Greek St. Recommended by a chef friend. Always wanted a Japanese hand forged knife. I am not a chef ... a good home cook. Unskilled in chef like chopping. Prince made me so welcome and was so helpful and patient. I wanted to start my knife collection with a multi use and not too pricey knife. I tried 3. Bought one. Don't be put off by thinking JKC is too elite for a humble home cook. I have a beautiful knife and it didn't break the bank. The shop and skill of the cutlers is amazing. Thank you. And I will be back.

I purchased two knifes the budget one is absolutely fantastic but the Kai filler/boning knife I really do not like it it doesn’t keep a sharp edge at all and was £175 would not recommend that one
