Easy, reliable, worry-free, good value...definitely recommended!

A friend asked me if I could take her back to Gibraltar, where she was born, for her birthday. A quick Google search found MyGibraltar who were happy to find me flights and a great Hotel and everything was done in no time at all.

Paperwork arrived promptly by email, within minutes of me paying the final balance. Everything was clearly explained and the booking in online and choosing seats were simple. Transport to the hotel was waiting for us on arrival and we were at the hotel in just a few minutes. The Bristol hotel is the oldest in Gibraltar and looks like it. Very scruffy inside and the carpet in the room we were in was threadbare and grubby. The room was in need of redecoration as was the bathroom. That said the staff were friendly and helpful. If you think of it as a cheap motel then you won't be disappointed. One word of warning, the photographer who took the picture of the pool is very good. In reality it is tiny, Again think of it as a cheap motel and you won't be disappointed. There is no restaurant but there is a small breakfast room which you access by going out the hotel and crossing a small road. It is next to the bar and pool and served a nice continental breakfast. Again the staff were very helpful and friendly, I could not fault any of them. Best point is its location of the Hotel. Right on the main street which is so useful for shopping and eating. Trip home was as efficient as the one out. The taxi picked us up in good time and the flight was superb. We are happy to book with MyGibraltar again for our next Gib shopping trip. I am also happy to book the Bristol Hotel. Despite everything we only use hotels on short breaks to sleep in after a long day shopping and sight seeing. So do not look for much in the way of amenities. Oh yes, the small bar next to the pool did a lovely coffee!

Are flight got cancelled because off the bad snow they help with a new flight home from Spain and a extra Night in the hotel so we did not have to worry about it they did it all for us all we hat to do make the difference up I with the extra night and getting to malaga airport they did the rest for us all sent in a email all the information pick up times from hotel flight times etc so we could get home from Gibraltar then next day

Everything was good until the pick up driver asked only my identity infront of all other passengers. I was only Asian in that group of passengers. It really didn't bother me , good that he asked for confirmation. My question is he didn't check the names of others why only me ???? I guess he shouldn't repeat this with others , not sure he meant that way but this hurts other sentiments. Other passengers asked me the same question, Why the driver asked your name not ours ......

So after a week of my review of this company we get a snotty email saying we have not been fed lies and been fobed off but I have proof of an email to say we will be paid our refund months ago and it is as follows below. I’m sorry about the delay and I have chased Monarch who have started refunding and are still in the process of doing so. However, I am going to ask my office to make an exception and issue you with a refund this week. We shall follow up with Monarch for our own refund. Best wishes Kay That was sent on 29/01/2018 Since then we have had little communication and now after my first review we are told it is being handled by Nick clout and the person we usually dealt with from My Gibraltar want nothing to do with us, they feel we have let them down by putting a bad review on this web site now how ironic is that !! Like I say every one who was due to fly with Monarch airlines for our wedding 6 months ago who did not book through My Gibraltar have got their money back, I will get a response no doubt but not to say we are getting a refund, absolute Joke !!

Booking system with my Gibralter was easy. helpful and Emailed all the paperwork I needed, including booking seats on flight to Gibralter. EasyJet let us down on the return journey and we are in discussions with them about this

The online booking process was easy and straightforward. On having a problem with payment, MyGibraltar called promptly to check and the booking finalisation proceeded without further ado. Their customer service was polite and efficient.
