Ordered a watch on April 18th that the site said would ship in 1-2 business days. I call on the 26th as it still hadn't shipped. They told me it would ship by the 28th. I called again on the 27th to verify as I needed it by the 30th for a gift. They tell me it is out of stock and a shipment is expected on May 3rd. Cancelled, went to town and paid retail prices, but at least it's from a reputable company that I can trust. I guess for grey market watches I'll stick with Jomashop, always have had good experiences with them.

I ordered a Bulova Rubaiyat ceramic watch. I was very concerned because I did not notice until after I ordered that the online description said it was a stainless steel watch although the product ID was for - and the photo showed a picture of - a ceramic watch. I could not contact WatchMaxx to confirm if it was ceramic or stainless steel because they were closed for Passover. Once they re-opened they immediately sent the watch before I could contact anyone, and I crossed my fingers. The watch arrived today (within 2 days) and it is the ceramic watch I ordered (clearly it was just an error in the online description). The watch is perfect. It arrived new in the original packaging, and it was sized to my specification. I don't know if the Bulova warranty will cover it (hopefully I won't need it), but for the drastic price difference (I saved hundreds of dollars), I'd buy from WatchMaxx again even if that means waiving the 3-year Bulova warranty. I was able to register the watch with Bulova for the warranty. I am very happy with my purchase and would buy from WatchMaxx again.
