United States | 16 August 2023Watchmaxx sent me the wrong watch. it was supposed to have a blue face like what it shows online but it came in black instead. When i complained They said i had to pay to send it back ( shipping & handling) with insurance and then want to charge a restocking fee 3% or apply it to another watch. How do i know this other watch would be the right one??? what a scam.!!! I have complained to them on 3 separate emails. they don't even dress the issue. So i cancelled the order and sent them the watch. Don't buy form these people.

United States | 10 August 2023I was skeptical about buying from an unauthorized dealer and not getting a factory warranty, but Watchmaxx checks out as a legit company with a good reputation so you're relying on their warranty which is the same length as the mfgr. I got the exact watch I wanted, brand new at a great price. So far so good.

United States | 24 July 2023I ordered a watch band for a 19mm Tag Heuer. Paid, and then they shipped flawlessly. IT arrived, and I said that the band was 20mm and had a different serial number on the clasp than then band that I ordered. They provided a RA number, and asked that I send them a photo. I said I was willing to exchange for the correct band, or they could refund if they didn't have the band in the size I actually ordered. They just processed a refund and charged me for shipping and restocking fee. Poor practice given they sold me something I didn't order in the first place. UPDATE: Despite engaging BBB, and further contact, they are completely inflexible and unwilling to refund my full amount despite their failure to deliver what was ordered. Lousy customer service from a company with lousy practices, and refusing to accept responsibility for their own mistakes.

Non working watch was received and customer service wants me to take it to the jeweler and get the battery replaced? WHY? Even if they are willing to pay for the battery, shouldn't they be checking to see if the watch is working before shipping? Why should we inconvenience ourselves for their incompetence? To top it off, they want a restocking fee and will NOT pay the shipping cost. Horrible business policy.

However I placed the order while on a cruise and trying to authorize the payment proved very difficult since I could not receive text messages. WatchMaxx was very patient and held my order as placed until I got to port making contact with all of the necessary companies easier.

United States | 18 July 2023i attempted to purchase a longines watch. i received an email saying my credit card was declined and that i had to resubmit my purchase and use PayPal and amazon pay or other method of payment, not credit cards. my credit card is fine and operative, seems they just don't want to pay credit card fees. If that is the case, they should just say it and don't waste my time.

Multiple e-mails to WatchMaxx customer service - not once was an apology offered for the lengthy delays. Great pricing on the products (watches) to be certain but a real shortfall in the customer service area. I am a CEO of a company that sells via Home Deport - Lowe's - Walmart - Sam's Bass Pro Shops - etc... So - I know just a little bit about how customer service should work and be handled. Disappointing.
