I was really looking to buy a watch for a while and came across WatchMaxx, this watch was over 9k, so I really looked into every review, they were some negatives, but I took the risk and went ahead. Be prepared for unexpected charges ! I won’t be buying again from here. I bought my watch and the invoice included ‘shipping and insurance’. However, when the watch turned up, I was told to pay an additional £87.87 import VAT and brokerage charges. As I was not expecting this, I went back to check the email and saw at the bottom of the email the following information; Prices billed by WatchMaxx.com for goods shipped outside the USA do not include any taxes, duties, VAT or other charges due to the recipient's local or national government authority. WatchMaxx.com charges only for the product and shipping fees. All other charges, duties, and taxes (including VAT) are the sole responsibility of the recipient and must be paid upon arrival in the destination country. This was not included in the purchase information – only when you order and pay for the watch. I considered sending it back, but the email also stated the following; In the event of delivery refusal, the purchaser is responsible for any duties and shipping charges that are incurred to return the product to WatchMaxx.com. So not only did I have to pay extra to get the watch delivered, but if I sent it back, I would have to pay again. Needless to say any money I thought I saved by buying from WatchMaxx was lost in these additional charges and I wont be buying from them again. On a positive note I do like the watch !

What made my experience great dealing with WatchMaxx was how easy it was to navigate their website and find the watch I was looking for. Unbelievable watch! Great experience! The fit and finish was as good as the jewelry store (I was concerned maybe these were models ad's tried to get rid of) Fast delivery, great prices, plus customer service who answered my annoying questions. P.s The guy at the jewelry store was even impressed (he had tried to sway me from the grey market) The only downside is no ad warranty paperwork (which i knew beforehand). If you want absolute top $ and quickest resale, maybe go ad (even though no paperwork according to chrono24, results in less of a discount than I got from watchmaxx) But if you want the real watch, at the best prices... watchmaxx blew it out the park If your warranty work is as good as everything else, you really can't go wrong. I will be back soon

Called to verify 9K watch was available prior to placing my order. Was assured that it was and would ship within 2-3 days. Placed the order and paid by CC. 2 days later I checked order status only to find the watch was on back order being "sourced". Spent a week waiting for a definitive delivery date to no avail. Missed out on obtaining watch from another source costing me $100s.

Product was exactly as described and the price was unbeatable. Additionally, I knew that I :had to order by 12:30 on a Friday to get it shipped same day but I was late ordering and the website indicated it would be delivered the next Tuesday with overnight. WatchMaxx actually shipped it that Friday regardless and even upgraded my shipping from simply overnight to overnight with delivery by noon. Watch showed up at 9:45 on Monday morning! This was my first purchase with WatchMaxx but they will get my business going forward. Excellent experience.

They sent me a watch that they knew would not fit and could not get links to make the band larger. I found the links directly from Omega which cost $102.00. I requested they reimburse me for the links and they said no. I was given the opportunity to return the product but was concerned that I had cut the label off the watch to try it on which said no refunds if removed. Very poor customer service. The watch should never have been sent in the first place since they knew my wrist size and was suppose to adjust the band accordingly. The band was 7 inches after they adjusted it and my wrist was 7.5 inches. This was dishonest and not right. They could have made it right by paying for the new links or informing me the band was not the right size before shipping. I received a watch from another company and had a similar size issue. They sent me a new $550.00 band at no cost. Go to Jomashop or Chrono 24. It surprises me that a devote religious group who runs this company, has not been honest! So sad.
