Although i love Jané products ( i have the matrix pram system, high chair and travel cot) i don't like their customer service if something goes wrong!. I had to send my pram to them as the brake line broke and it took nearly 3 weeks for it to be fixed and returned to me which meant i couldn't take my baby out for walks or go running with him (which is the reason i bought the matrix pram in the first place). Now, i am not even angry about that, but i am angry at the fact that when they returned it to me it had a big dent and chip in the paintwork!. Photos were sent with a description of the damage immediately upon opening it and Jané have said they will take the pram back and fix the damage. I am hesitant to do this for two reasons- 1. its a major inconvenience for me to be without a pram AGAIN and 2. There is no guarantee it won't come back with other damage. I explained this to Janè, saying I would accept a gift card for their store for a future purchase instead and get the pram fixed locally. Janè then started to say they can't confirm they did the damage in the first place. They told me they keep a record of any damage to the product when it enters their factory and when it leaves, I said 'great show me the record' - NOPE! This makes me believe that they don't have a record or its not a very detailed one. Also just to say i have received no apology from them for the damage caused. Yes i could just send it back to be repaired but running has a big impact on my physical and mental well being so not being able to exercise for 3 weeks is not a suitable option for me ( its not easy finding someone to care for my son whilst i go on my own which is why i needed the pram) and i am really not keen to further devalue the pram by having more damage and Janè denying knowledge of that either. Funny though that in the beginning, they didn't deny they caused it, it was only when i said i wasn't happy with the resolution that they then started to deny it.

Brilliant service

The parasol is very good quality & matches the Jane pram well. The ease of flexibility from the umbrella arm is fabulous. This can be moved very easily to provide complete sun shade over baby. The SPF on the umbrella works very well & looks very nice on the pram. Can definately recommend this Parasol. The delivery was very quick, well packaged and easily tracked.
