United Kingdom | 12 February 2025I’m writing to express a level of frustration at the poor level of service experienced. If an order is accepted on the ordering system, I think it’s fair to expect the order to be processed. If it isn’t processed because of a technical failure in the processing system, then I expect the company to have IT methods in place to identify the issue and either correct it, notify the customer, or a combination of both. In my case, the order failed…. And nothing happened until I raised a query about it. By this time, I’d run out of medication and had the hassle and expense of purchasing direct from the vet. Your order system is the heart of your business. If you’re not spotting and responding to failures in that process you’ve got shoddy IT, generating a crappy customer experience.

United Kingdom | 11 February 2025Hurray Placed order Feb 25 and finally received the order today 11 Feb at 11.30am Very frustrating as I had to chase and question the delays So my feedback to Animed is please please improve your communication and website updates Only having a processing and complete flag on my account is really not helpful So finally if anyone using Animed and sees a processing flag for 2 days Call Animed or email support desk

United Kingdom | 11 February 2025My dog has diabetes and for the last nearly 2 years I have been buying him from animed 10 x 2.5 vials which were price at £6.99 each, now I have gone to buy 10 today with my uploaded prescription and the have gone up to a whopping £11.99 each vial, I am now paying for 10 nearly extra £40 I have had to find to keep my dog alive, I understand they are cheaper then the vets, but since animed has changed its website, have not looked into there prices, I phoned the customer services, not helpful at all, I have loved purchasing from anime, now I am very disappointed, animed please look at pricing for the caninsulin as when purchasing 10 and not 1 2.5 vial,discount it like you use to

United Kingdom | 10 February 2025Animed direct have launched a new website and in the process have deleted all order history, all payment details andall repeat prescriptions. I only noticed this when I ran out of tablets for my dog and suddenly realized that the next order hadn't been delivered. When contacting them their attitude was to the effect that they had informed everyone with an email. The email said that they were going to be temporarily "pausing" scheduled orders from the 1st of January until the new system is up and running. It is now the 10th of February. I assumed stupidly that they would automatically resume my scheduled order but no, I have to contact them to ask for them to put in a one off order until they reintroduce scheduled orders. Brilliant! No mention in the email that all of your details will be deleted.

Today I needed to place an order by phone and am leaving this review based on the exceptional service by CLAIRE on the Customer Service team. Knowledgeable, patient with wonderful people skills. She makes a great impression for Animed. I hope they appreciate her!

United Kingdom | 08 February 2025I placed a £298 order for my dog’s allergy medicine which he needs daily on 31st Jan. 1 week later my order was still showing as processing on my account so I called customer service for an update, who couldn’t provide a reason and said they would call back. They called back to say it hadn’t been processed as I’d requested the film-coated pills instead of the chewable kind, even though it was the same medicine, dosage, price, quantity as the dog’s prescription which has been approved by the vet. If I hadn’t called for an update then this issue would have gone unnoticed. Animed failed to notify me when the order was placed a week beforehand, and now my dog is completely out of his daily medication. After 3 calls to customer service over 48 hours who told me they can’t amend my order as it affects their stock levels, and being told I would be called back by 2 different managers (Sammy and Michael) who failed to do so, I was finally called back by Hannah who advised that the new computer system doesn’t allow for order amendments and the only option would be to refund and reorder, taking another 5-7 working days. Hannah then proceeded to process a refund on my order after the call without notifying or confirming with me. As my dog needs the medication immediately, I’ve had no option to place another order of £298, causing further financial detriment. The fact that your new system doesn’t allow for any flexibility to simply amend an order, or credit the order amount to my account to create a new replacement order is frankly unacceptable. This is something that is very simple to do in any form of e-commerce (manually amending stock levels and reassigning payments to replacement orders) and the fact that Animed does not offer this only provides room for animals to suffer in circumstances such as these. On top of this, Animed have also caused a lot of material and financial distress to me personally from their lack of support and communication with this issue. I used Animed’s services for the past few years as I believed they were a company who put the care of animals first, however I can see this isn’t the case and I’ll be getting my dog’s prescriptions through his vets in future.

United States | 05 February 2025Never have I been so disappointed in a company as with yourselves. Absolute disgrace. The time taken means that my dog has now run out of medication. You have cost me time, money and my dogs health has been put in jeopardy.

United Kingdom | 05 February 2025SHOCKING SERVICE!! Lied, prevaricated, and stalled! I ordered life saving medication for my dog in good faith and in plenty of time but it turns out that their website is being updated and in chaos. They pretended that all was in order and gave the impression things were going smoothly and that your order will arrive shortly, but it wont!l After 3.5 weeks of stressing, emailing and calling and having to order lifesaving meds from an expensive vet to tide me over....they then cancel my order! I am then left with no option but to order further meds from a vet at twice the price! Had they been truthful, I could have ordered them from another source but they are greedy and were prepared to put my dogs life at risk to get my money! They obviously don't have real empathy with animals but more about lining their pockets! AVOID like the plague!

United Kingdom | 05 February 2025we have been getting my dogs medication from here for a while.Then sent in script in january for 3 months , ring up ,pay, await tabs nothing .Emails, phone callls ,today still no tablets had to ask for refund. Now my dogs on serious tablets 8 a day they have put his health in jeopardy or serious illness. Not happy and will not use them again

The prescription was uploaded and my account said it was processing. 6 working days later, no sign of dispatch so I emailed them to ask where it was. 7th working day I had an email saying there had been a problem uploading my prescription so they are refunding me. No contact earlier to say that there was any problem. Absolutely useless. I wouldn’t use again. The only positive thing was the refund was prompt.

I placed an order for my pet’s life-saving medications on January 7th. Despite multiple follow-ups, I only received a response after several attempts, informing me that there was an issue with the prescription from the vet—something that should have been identified and communicated immediately. My vet resent the correct prescription two weeks ago, yet I still have not received the medication. This delay in processing such a critical order is unacceptable and borders on negligence, as it directly affects my pet's health and well-being.

Got in touch with them only to be told it's free delivery over £45 it was clearly listed as free delivery. It's not the money I don't like tricks and scams, so if you to have seen free shipping, move on

United Kingdom | 30 January 2025I have been using Animed 18 months all OK but now with the new website USELESS cannot get into my account says no history only one phone number which Auto voice so no way of contacting them by phone i even checked to if the new website was a scam because you never know the i found on line alot of unhappy people people ordered taking a long time to arrive and no way to contact them so l have moved to another supplier so that's hundreds of pounds a year they will not get times that by a thousand customers that is a lot of money mick

United Kingdom | 30 January 2025I wouldn’t even give them a 1 star, I placed an order for Aqupel as my bulldog suffers with allergies, they have had the prescription for a few months, it was just a repeat order I paid express delivery, 8 days later still no order and my dog is suffering, 3 calls I have made to finally be told today “the order is broken” due to a change in thier system and that I now have to re order through no fault of my own. Every time I have used express delivery it’s been no quicker than normal, so do not pay for it!! Sham of a company now!!!

United Kingdom | 29 January 2025On 31 Dec I asked Animed if they would contact me when the 100ml Semintra was IN STOCK. They replied that it would show on their web site when IN STOCK. On 6 Jan Animed’s site showed 100ml Semintra IN STOCK (LIE NUMBER 1). I ordered the drug, paid and payment was taken. As Semintra is a prescription drug I paid for a written prescription from my vet to be sent to Animed. I emailed Animed on 7 Jan to ask if they had received the vet’s prescription which the vet sent on 6 Jan. On 8 Jan we still hadn’t received a response from Animed, so my partner contacted them. It wasn’t until Friday 10 Jan that Animed responded and said they had received the prescription on the 8 Jan (LIE NUMBER 2). Animed said that it would take 2 working days for their vets to validate the prescription and, once completed they would BEGIN THE SHIPMENT PROCESS (LIE NUMBER 3). By now we were getting desperate, the weekend was coming up, our stock of Semintra was running out and how much longer would we have to wait? So, I contacted another online company and they said they could despatch the 100ml Semintra to us that day and we would receive it the following day, Saturday 11 Jan. I ordered it, purchased a 2nd written prescription from our vet and, the other company were true to their word and we did indeed receive Semintra on 11 Jan. That transaction took just 2 days from order to receipt of the drug. It wasn’t until Tuesday 14 Jan (9 days after our order) that Animed got back to us to say they didn’t have Semintra IN STOCK, as their web site had shown on Monday 6 Jan, and couldn’t get it from their supplier. Yes, Animed did pay us back the £79.79 for the order that they falsely showed as IN STOCK and, as far as they are concerned, it isn’t their fault that we have wasted £23.35 on a written prescription for a product that was shown on their web site as being IN STOCK but never was. We, in future, will be using companies with I N T E G R I T Y to purchase the numerous drugs we require for our pets so, Animed you have missed out on hundreds of pounds we spend a year with online pet pharmacies. Animed suggested we transfer the prescription to another pharmacy but because of manufacturing issues last year the 100ml Semintra was quickly sold out by companies that actually did have stock. Also, the latest version of Semintra has a shorter shelf life and we will not need further supplies until after the written prescription Animed have has run out.
