United Kingdom | 31 January 2025I was going to take out insurance with Vetsure as my pets are part of the health plan but one of their customer service people called here when I have anxiety and asked if I wanted to take the quote, my son took the call and told them no, she then asked why?! I find it incredibly rude when people do that, if someone says no then it should be left at that. You shouldn't just randomly call people either. I put my phone number down because it appears that you have to, if I'd known I'd start getting calls, I wouldn't have filled the quote out.

She was very thorough in talking me through the policies making sure I understood what I was being offered and that I was happy to proceed. She was very knowledgeable and was happy to answer my questions. As I've only just taken the policies out I can't comment on Vetsure's performance should I need to make a claim.

United Kingdom | 22 December 2024We have been with Vetsure for over 3 years, insuring our 2 Cavalier King Charles spaniels and can only say how happy we have been with this company. As we bought them home with us from Australia, when making the first claims, Vetsure had to write directly to our vets to confirm their medical history. This was done speedily and refunds then quickly made. Before our recent claim for Rosie Posie, I rang the company for information and spoke to a very charming lady who couldn't have been more helpful. Perfect customer service! Admittedly, I am anxious that next year when they reach 8 years of age, that my premiums may rise significantly but knowing the cost of vet bills feel that this is understandable as much as I dont like it ! I wouldn't want to be without their insurance though after having already made several claims. After hearing appalling stories from friends that have been insured with other pet companies, i know this is tops ! Incidentally, they now insure with Vetsure...

United Kingdom | 05 December 2024Perfectly reasonable claim for our puppy when he had lungworm refused.Recommended company by our vet and very unhappy. Vetsures reply refers to a prior visit to the vet who had recommended them as our puppy was panting...the vet checked him over and gave him the all clear...this was later vetsures "existing condition"and reason for not paying our claim.Feel free to use Vetsure if you are happy to pay your own vet bills...just out of interest what percentage of claims do you pay out on?...Petplan its 97 percent i believe.

United Kingdom | 10 October 2024My vets liaised with Vetsure following a serious leg injury to my four year old Springer Spaniel. This took the pressure off my family as we managed his lengthy recovery. Vetsure met the bill to the maximum they could for our cover. (My fault as I didn't realise how much vets and surgeons fees could be!). I have to give a shout out for Spring Corner Vetinary Centre of Bournemouth who looked after our dogs treatment brilliantly and their team who liaised with Vetsure.

United Kingdom | 27 July 2024Apparently, Vetsure have been crowned the 2024 British Insurance Awards Customer Care winner and I can fully understand why. I have made two claims on my insurance. The first was settled within 3 days and the second within hours of me submitting the necessary forms by email. Over the years I have used several different pet insurers and none have come anywhere close to the amazing service offered by Vetsure. I can’t recommend them enough.

United Kingdom | 26 July 2024Our experiences with Vetsure, both with our kitten Daisy (2022) and Max (2024), were both handled with loving care throughout. In Daisy's case unfortunately she had to be put to sleep following an early morning car accident as the extent of the damage was so uncertain and would not be ascertained for several weeks. Totally unfair for the cat to suffer!!! In Max's case, he was 'clipped' by a car, got home and our vet referred him to a specialist hospital. He has now made a full recovery and is home with his twin brother, Milo, however the total cost was over £9,000. What do you do - pay up or put down - no choice in our case!!! In both cases Vetsure were very understanding, quick to settle and they deserve this award - congratulations to the Team!!! Outdoor cats are a greater insurance risk than those 'trapped inside', but I think Vetsure could have a higher max payout in excess of £5,000 - worth considering obviously with a higher premium!!!
