Now in a dispute after they cancelled a policy on something not explained and having to get the financial ombudsman involved to get back close to £5000 they have kept. I would avoid them and look elsewhere. Im in a complaints procdure right now and they have our money so dont give a toss. Terrible company

So I will be collecting all my deposit back - the days I've been insured . And asking for the records of the conversations. On bud is OK. Take eney conpliant high do ur homework.

United Kingdom | 16 October 2020Still in dispute with this firm since beginning of August 2020. I needed to insure my van in order to get it to an MOT station after I had sorned the van during lock down. Took my money then asked me for additional details the last one being why was my vehicle uninsured over recent months? that was 2 days before insurance was due to start. You cannot email them before your policy is up and running (No reply email) There is an insurance document and info portal but it would not accept word or pdf files which it should have.and trying to reach them by phone was a waste of time as nobody answered. I asked my bank to cancel my credit card payment which they did but the money still left my account. Eventual after several days trying I got through . I was offered a part refund which I refused. The policy which in my eye's never started was cancelled a couple of weeks later. The vehicle which I had tried to insure was no longer mine as it failed it's MOT and I got rid.I am £37 worse off and have raised a credit card dispute. This company has a hands off approach to customers and a hands on approach to your money. My advice would be to steer well clear.

United Kingdom | 07 October 2020Took out a courier insurance policy with them started on the 18th August Paid £430 up front and the rest on a monthly direct debit. All documents sent only to receive an email from the broker that Bollington has issued a notification to cancel my policy which was cancelled on the 17th September and I was asked to pay an additional £24 pounds make a total of £454 for a 29 day insurance. I won't advice anyone to take a policy with this company

Hiding under the name "quoteline direct" they lure you in with a low premium then it starts! £40 fee to "Email" your insurance certificate which they hide in the premium £25 fee to alter ANYTHING within the policy even a mistake. Staff are rude, aggressive and uncultured! My premium through go compare was £170 not bad I thought?? It ended up almost DOUBLE by the time they had finished!! A total nightmare from start to finish avoid these criminals like the plague!!! They are nothing but conmen out to fleece you at any given opportunity!! You have been warned? Caveat Emptor!!

United Kingdom | 23 September 2020A company that makes money from charging a £50.00 cancellation fee less than 24 hours after taking out the policy and blaming gocompare for errors on their system. This is not a insurance company this is a scam that attempts to inflate your policy once you pay, choose to go ahead and then when you do not accept the new inflated insurance premium quote £50.00 to cancel, effectively stealing this through the smoke screen of being able to offer a competitive insurance quote. To confirm this policy is under the Quoteline direct branding and seemingly offer the cheapest quotes on gocompare comparison website.

United Kingdom | 15 September 2020Wow discraceful company , i pay a large premium for trade policy but can only add a vehicle if im behind the wheel driving it ,, lunatics , refusing to put cars on MIB database , they dont even know the law , a vehicle Appears to be un insured if it is not put on the database , meaning the police can impound a car not on the database ... terrible attitudes staff and Managers !! Iv changed my insurance brokers and insurers today
