Got a call for insurance and the sales guy wanted me to guess how much my insurance is. I asked if he could just tell me and he kept insisting i should guess or give him a figure. After i refused he quoted me a ridiculous amount and asked how i felt. He then went on to say negative things about my postcode, i just said 'Thanks for the call', he hung up without saying anything. I'm glad i experienced this rudeness at the quote stage.

Telephoned for a quote, spectacularly unhelpful. Could not be bothered. Go somewhere else where they can be bothered. Provided no information just said they could not quote. They really do not deserve to succeed. If this is how they behave when getting new business imagine what they are like if you have to claim?

have now tried over a dozen times to contact Bollington via phone and email .... not one returned call ... managed to get through to a human being twice but got cut off .... they have all my details ... why didnt they ring back .. desperately required renewal ... had to go elsewhere ... not good .... i now require refund for remaining 5 months ........

If it was up to me there should be room for minus stars,cancelled my insurance 7days befor letting me know so I was driving delivering customers goods all over the uk with no insurance. This company should be struck off from operating as an insurance company and made to pay their customers a full refund on their cancelled policy as it's no fault of the customers.

the option for NO STARS is not there so in order too get to make comment you have to click a star... this however is downgraded to NO STAR as this company is as crooked as the rest of them wouldnt accept a no claims certificate from my previous insurers because they said it had been generated by the broker not the underwriter.... unfortunately POLICY PLAN ( previous insurers have gone BUST) anyone else with the same problem... avoid at all costs. THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT

My claim occurred 3 WEEKS AGO and I'm still waiting for a decision from their underwriters. Total unacceptable! Loss of earning and numerous phone calls. Bollington couldn't care less but once my monthly payment is due and I can't afford to pay it I'm sure they'll be contacting to me!!!

I am not wasting time emailing customer complaints, I have been a loyal customer for 20 years, and now you would not quote me or send a renewal insurance, Shame on you!! I called them a few times, they have been OK before, but 2020, the mood has changed to bad attitude, they are not interested in loyal customer, Called them, with promise I would get a call back, did they, no no no, Now Mark posts a reply 3 weeks later, Please don't male tales MarIk, it was you I spoke to,

Worst company ever, just had to pay them off. They will rob you blind, will not answer calls or emails. Do not use them. You will find out if you use them.

Got a quote couple of days ago for buy to let insurance. Happy with quote, but had a few enquiries. Quote letter stated "any queries don't hesitate to contact us". So I sent 2 e mails, neither of which received a response. Today telephoned to speak to quote provider, no call back. Called again to speak to Manager, he engaged. Message left to call back. Not surprisingly no call! Not impressed at all by the appalling lack of response to new business. Makes me wonder if I had taken out a policy how a claim would be dealt with? Very shoddy business reaction. Will look elsewhere to insure portfolio of properties.

Took out policy with Bollington was asked if I had any CCJs I said yes but didn’t understand why this was necessary as was paying out right for the policy. The bloke said if less than £2000 it would be fine. Received a letter 10days into policy saying they are voiding policy due to them carrying out a credit check (which was NOT discussed) and it coming back with x3 CCJs but not mounting over £1000. This has now resulted into a strike against me now and it’s making it extremely hard for me to find insurance. I was not aware a credit check was being carried out as there wasn’t any need to this been carried out due to me paying out in full I wasn’t asking to pay monthly! All we are asking is to take the strike away because this is both parties error. The stress worry and inconvenience neither of us can go to work my misses is a key worker on top of this and being made to feel like a criminal for an error that could be my fault but also could be Boddintons fault I can’t put into words how angry I am that a company can do this to someone is beyond me one very disappointed ex customer update now got wait 8 weeks for a refund in 50 years of Me being around this is far the worst company I’ve ever hat dealings with And I’m not just on about insurance 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

Bollington will not reduce my private hire cover to social domestic & pleasure and refund the difference. I have not worked since lockdown started i have underlying health issues so cannot take a chance . You will loose a lot of business through this decision. My broker is PAYTONS insurance brokers in Glasgow.

Motortrade Insurance Renewal I've just renewed my motortrade insurance with Bollington Insurance, I dealt with April, who because of the current lockdown was working from home, she was extremely helpful and I received excellent service from her. I was impressed with her knowledge and she gave me great advice, I would have no hesitation in dealing with April and Bollington Insurance for any future insurance requirements.
