United Kingdom | 26 January 2025Products, as always, great. However (I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again) I cannot understand why GT charge £10 more(!) to deliver to the Isle of Wight. Previously I have been told that the courier used charges a higher rate. This time the order was delivered using Royal Mail. Royal Mail deliver to the IOW and do not charge more (or less) for their service to and from the island. We are not a backwater - we are a 40 min ferry ride from the mainland and Royal Mail bring vans full of letters and parcels daily. The only explanation I can think of is that GT are pocketing the extra postage because it is not costing them a penny more than posting to the mainland. Fortunately I have family on the mainland who accept deliveries for me but this means I have to wait until I next see them before getting my goods.

Ordering the vouchers was fairly easy however the acknowledgment email was confusing regarding who and how it would be delivered. The issue was quickly resolved with a phone call to GT
