Riverside really are superb, don't hesitate to order from them. I had a couple of minor issues (cracked grill) with a BBQ that wasn't their fault. They were so helpful, prompt and friendly and quickly rectified the issue. From start to finish they are a quality operation and I wouldn't use anyone else.

How the 'heck' did they achieve that!!!! Let me explain... Thursday 24 Mar at 13:14 - I ordered a new BBQ via the website. We have used Riverside many times before for Weber accessories/ large pizza oven and they have never let us down, this was the reason I visited them first! 13:15 - Received confirmation e-mail for order (these are automated, so no surprise there) 13:43 - Received e-mail stating the order status had changed!!!! (Maybe a little premature? I didn't know...read on) 13:44 - Received e-mail stating the order status had changed again (after the previous e-mail, I took this as the new BBQ was sat in their outwards pile awaiting the courier) 21:10 - Received e-mail from courier giving me a delivery date (from their London office, so they have been to Riverside picked it up and taken it to their hub.) This isn't a small BBQ by the way, its big and heavy. Within 8 hours the order was acknowledged, picked, collected by the courier and was at the couriers depot awaiting shipment! Thats great service in my books and nothing we haven't received before from both companies. Even though I haven't physically got he BBQ in my hands yet, I'm not worried! Both companies have excelled themselves in the past and must have an amazing business relationship, something a lot of businesses and couriers simply just don't have! Well done both of you!

All well from price points to fast delivery until there were some problems with the product. I have ordered Weber BBQ back in Feb because Weber own website had ran out of my choice of BBQ. Although the box was large but arrived in good condition and no sign of mishandlings. After inspecting parts and reading manual I soon realised the ash pot has a huge dent on the side and two of star-shaped plastics to seal the front of both wheels were also missing. I took the photos, reported to Riverside and sought their advices. My suspicion since the box was in good condition was it must have been the error from Weber's packing process. I had also pointed out that I was aware it didn't effect the usage but it's certainly not what you'd expect to receive in such condition especially from a brand new product in full price. Initial responses were helpful and suggested they would chase Weber to send those replacements. Months gone by, multiple chasing emails, still no action. I'm really disappointed as I now have the incomplete Weber BBQ that I can't get those spare parts from anywhere else even eBay to sort this out myself. I certainly will not purchase from Riverside again or recommend it to anyone.

Superb experience. I searched for a replacement Weber bbq and these came out cheapest so I ordered Saturday morning. It arrived Monday before 10am Top notch service, price snd of course bbq 🥰

Rubbish web site, asking me to accept terms but no sign of any terms and conditions section to acknowledge acceptance. Phone for assistant - they hung up. Bought elsewhere and saved money as the other site were cheaper for shipping.

Ordered an Alexander Rose Bengal chair from Riverside. They seemed to be out of stock most other places, but the Riverside website said they were in stock - bit more than what I usually pay, but I was glad to find them. Riverside are a big Alexander Rose supplier and they have good reviews, so I trusted that the website was accurate. At the point of paying something came up to say delivery in 4 to 8 weeks - strange but I pressed ahead. The next day I got an email from TNT saying it was being dispatched that day. Oh joy. Later the status changed to ‘being collected’. 2 contacts with customer service and I have been told it definitely is in stock, they wouldn’t have taken my money if it wasn’t in stock, it has definitely been dispatched to me, TNT are having problems. I spoke to TNT a week later and they confirmed that they have not collected the chair for delivery and the problem is at riversides end. I raised this with Riverside, but never got a response. After nearly 4 weeks of waiting, I cancelled the order. Riverside refunded me, but other than that did not acknowledge my email. During all this time Riverside’s website claimed that the chair is in stock. I had wanted more than one chair and while this was going on, another supplier’s stock status changed from ‘no’ to ‘low’ stock. (10% less expensive than Riverside). Placed an order and received 2 chairs 3 days later. Front line Riverside staff were friendly and helpful, but something is lacking in the company’s management.

The BBQ I ordered was sent out on the Sunday afternoon and I received it the next day. Such an amazing service. I emailed customer service team with a query and Ellie replied immediately- fancy that! Amazing service at a good price, I will recommend to all my friends and family. You can certainly buy with confidence.

Riverside has to be one of the most incompetent and unpleasant companies I have ever dealt with. I placed an order for garden furniture including rattan chairs as part of a set, in February. Having accepted the order and payment I was then advised the chairs would be delayed until May. Being Winter, I confirmed no problem. No further news so I contacted Riverside in mid May asking when the chairs would be delivered and was told mid June. Having no further information from them I contacted them again mid June to ask when the chairs would be delivered and received a reply from their managing director that my note didn't contain any niceties and he was, without any explanation, cancelling my order and refunding me. I told him, and have continually told them I didn't want a refund I wanted the chairs which were part of a set and which it was now too late to get them from other suppliers for this year. No response. Incompetently, Riverside refunded the full order amount following which I received an email acknowledging their incompetence and threatening to collect the delivered part of the order if I didn't immediately repay them. Clearly this customer service/attitude comes from the top.
