I hope lots of people buy a raffle ticket there are some wonderful prizes and Cancer Research Uk really do need your help. My Mum was diagnosed last year with cancer and I’ve had a cancer scare this year. It’s so scary because there is no control for the individual and their family.

United Kingdom | 26 January 2021Very greedy and uncompassionate company. I was unable to take delivery of a Weber Grill due to the unexpected and tragic death of my brother. On delivery day (the same day my brother passed away) I received a call from the delivery driver and told him that I needed the grill re-delivered as we were not in and at the hospital. A couple of days later a rude customer service representative rings me and explains that there will be a re-stocking fee applied to my refund. I never asked for a refund, just a redelivery - we still want the product. Now that I have finally had a chance to get back on top of my personal admin I’ve noticed that the restocking fee was £100 and I was not sent an email or any correspondence to confirm this. I’m not after a refund of this fee or anything else, I just want people to know how greedy and uncompassionate the Riverside Garden Centre are. Imagine how positive the review could have been had they understood the situation and acted with compassion. Instead they chose to make an easy £100.

I noticed that the box had been opened, but that's obviously to attach the regulator included in the price, the packaging was in perfect condition. Very happy with the purchase.

I went on the net and found this Garden Centre Extremely helpful staff friendly and polite when talking on the phone. They had what I was looking for, I ordered on Friday and it arrived on Saturday. Excellent service, would not hesitate to use them in the future.

United Kingdom | 17 August 2020The dimensions of the Alexander rose cantilever base I bought were not on the Riverside website and so I was directed to the manufacturers site which said 60x68cm. The actual dimensions were 76x76cm and so would not fit on a trolley up our alleyway. Riverside accepted that their advice and the manufacturers website were wrong but took no responsibility for it and only offered me a return at my own cost. They asked me who I had spoken to in sales but I didn’t take the name - so if you do deal with this company take down the names of the people you deal with. I would have been happy with kerbside delivery if dimensions were right as I could have borrowed a trolley to get it up the side. So 1 star for bad website product details, phone advice and customer service after the event.

Nice delivery man too. Only slight issue was their website not being able to see more than ten things in the basket at a time, so was fiddly to check I had everything I wanted, but overall wasn't much of an issue
