United States | 24 July 2024Home from Home was fantastic! Sandra was very helpful in helping me find a flat in London. I stayed at Elbe St, and it was great. Just what I needed for an excellent visit to London. I hope to come back and stay again!

United States | 20 July 2024The Britannia Road apartment was perfectly suited to our needs. Clean, well maintained, well equipped ( even a washer/dryer ), great looking neighborhood and close to public transportation. But the best amenity is not listed in the description - the management. We’ve rented holiday apartments in a number of countries over a long period of time. Home from Home provides the best management we’ve ever enjoyed.

United States | 18 May 2024Home from Home were excellent. Sandra was responsive and helpful especially when we encountered problems with our flat. The flat was in an excellent location but there were some challenges with the flat itself which were attended to very quickly and professionally.

Canada | 19 March 2024We have stayed with Home from Home properties on two occasions in London. Both locations were great - nice, quiet neighbourhoods and close to transit links. The apartments were comfortable and provided all the necessary supplies and equipment. We always appreciate the reasonably priced and convenient taxi service to and from the airport as well. We will most definitely book with them again.

United States | 16 March 2024We have used Home From Home twice during trips to London and both times received outstanding service from their office. They were quick to respond to questions regarding our different choices of places to stay and also arranged for pickup from Heathrow for us. During our stays, whenever an issue came up they were there to respond to it. It was a pleasure dealing with their customer service than with one of the big “giants“ of Airbnb or VRBO who had horrible customer service. Will definitely use them again on a return visit to the UK.

United States | 16 March 2024I have rented from HFH twice in London and both times I found them helpful, friendly and competent. The flats were as described , were clean and well kept and the pickup at the airport was a plus. I travel to London regularly and plan to us them always.

Canada | 15 March 2024HFH hosts a substantial variety of short term rental homes and flats. In our experience, the properties are lovely; booking and dealing with HFH was easy; and if there are any issues or one just needs to communicate or get information,HFH is a phone call away. Good place to call if one is staying in London!

United States | 15 March 2024Home From Home is a wonderful company. They have beautiful properties in their inventory-- which are all as advertised; helpful, friendly staff; and reasonable rental rates. I have used this company twice and highly recommend them. The booking process is easy, and once you are in London, they are always responsive should you need them. This is an honorable and well-run company.

Hong Kong | 13 March 2024Home from Home helps me find high quality apartments in the London areas I am interested in. The booking, transfer of keys, instructions and communications are clear/smooth. I prefer using Home from Home to Airbnb for the consistent higher quality.

United Kingdom | 20 October 2023Terrible do not book with them. Cancelled our booking the DAY BEFORE we were meant to stay which left us with no where so stay. Then did not refund us and did not respond to emails. Eventually got a refund after 6 weeks by going through the bank. Do not use them

France | 14 February 2023we had to book from home from home a flat in Bath, via RIVERS ST GEORGIAN APARTMENTS only because our initial booking was cancelled. BOOKING.COM proposed to book an accommodation for an amount of GBP 98 for 1 night in Bath. No security deposit or cleaning fee was mentioned in the reservation. Once the payment was made, BOOKING.COM confirmed our reservation. Later, we received a mail from RIVERS ST GEORGIAN, asking for a security deposit of GBP 250. As our initial reservation was cancelled the day before we were coming to Bath, we felt we had no choice but to pay that security deposit. at the end of our visit in Bath, we were debited twice GPB 98 from HOME FROM HOME directly, plus 42 pounds for cleaning fee. We justified the 2 debited amount with our bank slip and despite that, HOME FROM HOME refused to reimbursed that amount. It"s what i call a RIP OFF ? A SCAM. We had several exchanges with RIVERS ST, it's always a different girl who don't even bother to look into the matter ! So do not BOOK any accommodation with HOME FROM HOME as they ask you once you paid for the reservation a deposit + cleaning without even reimbursing that's due to you. The accommodation was left as it was when we got there. We have pictures to prove it and our bank account statement. As far as the accommodation was concerned, the furniture was bought from car boots sales, half broken or did not work like coffee machine, a double bed, with broken drawn in which we tripped all the time, the blinders were too small for the windows so, the light came through right in the middle, draft blew through the bedroom so the blinders were banging all night, we ended up sleeping on the sofas which were stained and the cupboard next to the other bedroom was smelling with damp, humidity. Everything was cheap and bad quality even breakfast which was what was left from previous clients. A dreadful accommodation and night in Bath. TO AVOID !

United States | 23 June 2022We recently rented the Ormonde Gate apartment, for a month in May/June 2022, and were extremely disappointed at the discrepancy between the description of the property on the Home from Home website, and the property itself. The website description of the flat as elegant and beautifully furnished is grossly misleading. In reality the flat is dark, the furnishings are musty and dated, the dining chairs are mismatched, the blinds are broken, the floor is stained, and the frayed lamp cords are patched with duct tape. The lights went out several times during our stay; thankfully we were able to directly contact the building super to get them back on, but clearly this is an ongoing problem which has not been addressed. Home from Home was recommended to us by friends, but their experience was pre-Covid. At this point we would definitely not recommend renting through them.

United Kingdom | 05 May 2022Me and my family have rented a property from Home from Home for 9 years now and we have NEVER had any issues or problems. They are easily to contact and always respond swiftly and professionally. The washing machine broke a while ago and within 2 days a new one was delivered and fitted. The quarterly house inspections are hassle free and take just minutes. The property maintenance is also to a high standard with yearly boiler and electric checks. If you are looking to rent a property I highly recommend Home from Home as an agent.

United Kingdom | 23 March 2022Booked a cottage for a weekend in March, when we got there cottage was freezing, 7 degrees, there were digital radiators, a couple upstairs were locked. Despite the welcome book giving the network address and password no matter how many combinations we tried couldn't connect to network. Tried ringing a couple of numbers and both were unavailable although one stated opening times were 8am to 8 pm on a Friday (it was around 5:30pm). By now we were really freezing cold, hungry and fed up the downstairs radiators came on they were very small for quite big rooms so wasn't going to get warm for some time, two bedrooms were freezing. So, it was very cold, pouring with rain, no Wi-Fi so not TV (have never been to a holiday let where the TV had been disconnected from Wi-Fi-). After being unable to get any help we decided we'd go home. Paid nearly £600 for 3 nights at the cottage, asked for my money back and they have offered me £150 as a 'goodwill' gesture. Apparently there must have been a power cut which caused the radiators to go off. It was all our fault for not studying the information on the radiators (didn't see one). It was our fault we couldn't connect to Wi-Fi, have done it loads of times previously, not a difficult thing to do. It was our fault when I rang the priority line by not saying 'yes' when asked if it was an emergency (was not something I considered as an emergency). They say tried to give me a courtesy call but apparently it must have been the wrong number (just checked my account, they have my correct mobile number and I didn't have a missed call). In fact, everything was our fault, other people are correct when they say you should never book a let unless you have at least an e-mail to the host.

United Kingdom | 18 January 2022Do not use this company if your stay is important. I recently booked an apartment for 3 weeks on behalf of my mother who us undergoing radiotherapy for cancer. The reason for the stay was the hospital is 1.5 hours from our home so she planned to stay in the apartmen to avoid the travelling after treatment. Today at 430pm they e mailed to say the apartment has been double booked and they were cancelling our booking. 11 minutes later with no conversation or discussion they sent another email confirming the cancellation thanking us for our patience and understanding? My mother is now left with no where to stay and starting treatment tomorrow. Its an absolute shambles and I would avoid at all costs to avoid the disappointment and stress. I now have a mother who is stressing about radiotherapy treatment and where she is going to stay. The apartments name was Fisherman's way in Swansea so stay away!!

United Kingdom | 12 June 2021I left Rosie (my 9 month old cockapoo) at Peter at Tina's while we went to see family through the rest of the UK for 10 days. It was so re-assuring to know that Rosie was in Peter and Tina's loving and capable hands on her first time spent away from our home. In the end she probably had a better holiday than us! Thoroughly recommend
