I don't to need go into details about the fire that broke out out their facility that was likely their fault. I say this because the staff have been clear in saying it was a roof fire. and multiple staff have said it was from either the Solar Panels or the A/C. Based on the actions and behavior of their management since this event, it seems to me that they were likely negligent. The upper management of this company is disorganized, and clearly uninterested in safeguarding ANY POSSESIONS. I'd question their experience and the clearly don't plan, they just jump and do things without thinking. Then they change their thoughts and directions constantly. Since the fire, they have moved my items to another unit and now they are telling me they have to move me again to another facility over 20 miles away! Needless to say items that survived the fire and the flood from the fire hoses have been damaged by their selected "movers" I have met Ron who appears to be a genuinely nice guy and I appreciate his kind responses on this site, but he doesnt care, and i'm confident if you call him your issue will not be resolved, at least that has been my experience. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY TAKE YOUR STUFF OUT AND RUN! 06.20.2024 02:39PM FOLLOW UP: Ron agreed to ALLOWED ME TO MOVE my items to another facility. ONLY Their movers are permitted in the building. when the movers began to remove items, they WERE DRIPPING WET! The unit they moved my contents to was FLOODED! I'm so disgusted I will not say more here. Do your own investigation, this company has NO EXPERIENCE. I moved what was left to another company, that has a facility that is better , better temperature control, , has a much better lighting, better security a safer building and is less expensive. I will be sharing more on the facebook group. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY TAKE YOUR STUFF OUT IF YOU DO!

Kendra was very nice and helpful, would definitely recommend using this storage location.

They increase their price over 20% suddenly and unfairly without resigning a modified agreement.

Why are your prices constantly increasing it went up last year expected but is this an every year thing, but no worries I will be moving my items out to another storage facility no need of debating about it.

On May 10th, a fire caused by a faulty solar panel at Safeguard Storage damaged many customers' belongings, including personal items, business supplies, and antiques. Unfortunately, the company has done little to help. They claim they are working to reopen soon, but seem more interested in billing customers than allowing them to assess the damage. Even worse, some customers with upcoming weddings can't access their essential items. Personally, I have lost a significant amount of money due to this incident, and the company’s neglect is causing financial and emotional distress. However, staff members Tyler and Emmanuella have been supportive and helpful throughout this ordeal. If you are affected by this situation, please contact me. We need to unite to hold Safeguard Storage accountable.

Horrible company all my stuff got destroyed in an external building fire & safeguard is taking zero responsibility for the issue even tho they are fully negligible & liable for this. Lawsuit to follow. Store your stuff anywhere else. Clearly didn’t hold up there end of the bargain

I went to the Valley Stream office at 5:53pm. I was desperately in need of a storage unit. I called and spoke to a Denise who was very courteous and she helped me well. I only had to go into the store to do the paperwork and get my unit. The office attendant was so cold to the point that she closed the door and refused to help me. She said if she assist me it might go pass 6pm. I begged her and she was very unprofessional. I will never use this storage unit again, neither will I recommend them to anyone. Very rude, cold and unprofessional.

Pretty up to date and clean

I was helping a family member move from their unit T: 4301 Bronx Boulevard Bronx, NY 10466 when an opportunity arose that required my needing a unit of my own. Louie helped me get one and made the process easy and painless. His advice also helped make the transaction affordable. Louie was helpful, respectful and a pleasure to deal with; as was the rest of the staff. They all deserve a box of cannolis. Thanks from Uncle Mike.

I called on April 22, 2024 and Pablo helped me get started. I went after rent and met with Robert at 2650 Southwest 28th Lane, Grove location where he helped me get a storage in less than 30min. Place is clean and just the size I needed. Robert explained everything to me and was as helpful as Pablo was in the main office. Robert set everything up and I am glad I went there first and final. I didn't have to look around. The price was perfect for a 10x5. Thank you for all your help.
